Origins of Gnosticism = Jewish Plato or Zoroastrianism or Buddhism = traces to a sour, blasphemous Jewish Gnosticism that takes a perverse delight in saying spiteful things about God as defined in the hate-filled Old Testament. Gnostics were in constant fights with Christian apostles and writers of the time for dominance.

Magic, also, was an important part of the doctrines and manifestations of gnosticism, largely done by Jewish thinkers who covered every element of gnosticism.   Heads of gnostic schools and founders of gnostic systems are designated as Jews by the Christians leaders.  Hebrew words and names of God provide the skeleton for several gnostic systems. This fact proves at least that the principal elements of gnosticism were derived from Jewish speculation.

Gnostic Writers speculate and make up extreme claims creating the same kind of made up ideas the insane Rabbis did for Jews with their writing and laws that ended up in the Talmud. Gnostics put forward Ego driven evil ideas as a new form of distorted Christianity to try to DESTROY CHRISTIANITY = Joseph Smith EGO DRIVEN IDEAS created Mormonism. Gnostics freely inventing myths to explain their massive inconsistencies.

So the new testament writers had to offset the Jewish Gnostics CULT writings. John’s Revelation mentions gnostic groups who incorporated sexual acts into worship, which was also the practice of some Gnostic groups. Gnostics tried to prove religion is made up nonsense be a few EGOTISTS on all sides trying to counter each other and the victims are the people who believe any of this made up nonsense!

Gnostics were mostly EGOTISTICAL Jews who pretended to be higher level Christians and created these EXTREME CULT ideas:

#6 Mistake of Sophia (Wisdom) led to the creation of the evil Archon (pretend god) who created our evil world
#7 Sparks of Sophia in some humans fill them with an urge to return to the Pleroma (divine realm) where they belong.
#8 Gnostics held matter and human bodies are corrupt so there is no harm in indulging fleshly desires since the body is utterly corrupt beyond redemption anyhow. Like Sabbatai Zevi & Jacob Frank did to Jews — They promised the Jews they were the messiah and that if people did enough bad things in life a NEW ERA of JEWISH RULE OF THE WORLD would come.

1666 AD Sabbatai Zevi, a new False Jewish Messiah (50+ before him since Jesus), told everyone who would listen he was the Messiah & a Messianic Messager of salvation and redemption for all Jews bringing in an era of destruction, insurrection, Jewish imperialism/oppression, world wars, holocausts, and massive economic chaos. Shabbatai Zevi with his “666” date was just another in a string of FAKED Jewish messiah. He was a FALSE deceitful and brought a corrupt demonic form of evil and so-called religion to take control of a very large following.  Shabbatai Tzevi or Sabbatai Zevi really did announce he was the Jewish messiah, but today, very few have heard of Messiah Sabbatai Zevi.  

ZEVI proclaiming redemption was available through acts of great and continual sins and amassed a following of 50% of all Jews at that time or 1+ million passionate believers, but fortunately he died in 1667.  But unfortunately, his fame spread far and wide during his time.  Sabbatai’s adherents converted rituals like Fasting days into days of Feasting and Rejoicing and practiced sexual promiscuity, adultery, incest and religious orgies in their rituals and worse in a Satanic pagan form of Evil not seen in Europe in centuries.

DEFINITION of Sabbateans = Variety of followers of Sabbatai Zevi (1626–1676), a Jewish rabbi who claimed he was the Jewish Messiah in 1666 with many followers, but he was forced to converted to Islam in 1666 and some branches of Sabbateans actually converted to Islam.  Jews began to be corrupted by the demonic forms of evil date in 1666 or “666” for the date of Shabbatai Tzevi’s messiahship.  Shabbati Tzevi, Jewish movement is called a “false prophecy”  as it was predicted by Nathan Levi of Gaza, a so-called famous prophet who called for the alleged messiah, Sabbatai Zevi to arrive, which gave credibility to Zevi’s claims.

Talmudist Rabbi Jacob Emden in early 17th century was exposed to teachings of Sabbateans in Poland and as a defender of orthodox-Jews fought against the Sabbateans destruction in European Jewry. Emden reviewed and evaluated all amazingly fifty (50) odd messiahs that had risen over the prior 1600 years back to Jesus, the Messiah in the 1st century who lived the life of the Torah to the “letter of the law” Jesus was exact opposite of Shabbatai Tzevi (1600 years later).

1750 AD Jacob Frank (1726-1791), a Shabbatai Kabbalist successor, expanded upon Zevi’s occult philosophy with “Frankism”

 almost 100 years later. He called it Frankism, claiming also to be the Jewish Messiah with 50,000 Jewish followers from Poland & Eastern Europe. Frank claimed that “all laws and teachings will fall” and every boundary will fall and Jews will rule the world. Frankism is commonly associated with Sabbateanism which also violated traditional Jewish teachings even engaging in orgies used in their rituals. Frank as messiah, pretended to be Christian, established a miniature royal court and selected twelve female disciples — his concubines and twelve male disciples as his missionaries. But the Archduchess of Vienna began to suspect that Frank was not a Christian but a Jew in Christian clothing — Frank was excommunicated by Jewish rabbis and Polish Catholics and expelled from Vienna. Frank finally ended up in prison for 13 years.

Frank, like Zevi, performed “strange acts” that violated traditional religious taboos, such as eating fats forbidden by Jewish dietary laws, ritual sacrifice, and promoting orgies and sexual immorality. He often slept with his followers & Slept with his own daughter & Preached that the best way to imitate God was to violate every taboo & mix the sacred with the evil. Professor Gershom Scholem called Frank, “one of the most frightening phenomena in the whole of Jewish history”.

1776 AD Amazingly, the Rothschilds banker syndicate under Meyer Amshel Rothschild, even formed an alliance with Jacob Frank’s organization and Adam Weishaupt (1748–1830) who he appointed to found the new Order called the Bavarian Illuminati in 1776, and that timing corresponded with Rothschilds funding of the American Revolution, like the French Revolution the Rothschilds funded later.

1844 AD SECOND GREAT AWAKENING — YOM KIPPUR, MORMONS, AND ADVENTISTS — The Karaite Jews confirmed that the “Day of Atonement” was late October, not late September, against Jewish tradition. This was called the second Great Awakening in New England states, of America, as Karaite Judaism became a Jewish religious movement characterized by the recognition of the Tanakh, or five books of Moses, alone as its supreme authority. Karaites fundamentalists rejected the rabbi written documents with their additional explanations, as NOT binding on them. Karaites strove to adhere to the plain or most obvious meaning of the text of the five books, the meaning that would have been naturally understood by the ancient Israelites when the books were given. They rejected the rabbi written laws in the Talmud containing tremendous evil against humanity. Karaite Judaism holds every interpretation of the Tanakh five basic books must address the fundamental meaning and it is the personal responsibility of every individual Jew to do so. Karaites consider arguments made in the Talmud and other works, but never exalting them above the basic five books. This Jewish awakening was unique in that it moved beyond the educated elite of New England to those who were less wealthy and less educated. The center of revivalism was the so-called Burned-over district in western New York. Named for its overabundance of hellfire-and-damnation preaching, the region produced dozens of new denominations, communal societies, and reforms. These Jews Awakening also pushed temperance (PROHIBITION DISASTER), abolition, and women’s rights. In addition to these causes, reforms touched nearly every aspect of daily life, such as restricting the use of tobacco and acceptable diet and dress reforms.

Karaite Jews changing of the Day of Atonement date to late October, was used by Early Adventists Christians, under Joseph Smith organized the Adventist church along the line of Karaite Jews, and had his flock awaiting the Messiah to return. These Adventists quit their jobs, sold their businesses and homes for pennies on the dollar to await the literal coming of the Messiah on hilltops. Obviously, they were disappointed and Joseph Smith was run out of the area around 1831, which happened at other locations and times before he finally landed in Utah and founded the Mormon Church.

GNOSTIC PROPAGANDA AND LIES WERE VICOUS AND SOME OF IT RESIDES IN TALMUD — HERE ARE A FEW:

Some gospels were destroyed and were never approved for the Bible
Jesus talked to the cross on which he died

Judas a hero for betraying Jesus
Jesus’ body was corrupt so he gave it up to join the ideal spirit world. “Christian” Gnostics pretended Christ did this = Called Docetism
Claimed Christians were a lower form that the gnostics (Jewish still teach this)
Claimed Jesus hide secret knowledge (he gave Judas) from these lower life forms
Claimed Judas was the most enlightened disciple
One class of Gnostics took a demonic delight in standing Christian teachings on their head
They invented stories to discredit God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit
They said Jesus was the equivalent of a artist who puts a crucifix in a bottle of urine
Some gnostics say Jesus’s spirit abandoned the man him and left him to die alone on the cross
Some gnostics say someone other than Jesus was executed.
Some gnostic say resurrection should be ignored or viewed as a spiritual, rather than a physical, event.

Concerned Christians understand what the original texts actually contained and completely rejected these added ideas as EVIL CULT garbage. ALL was considered conjecture and was rejected by early Christians.

Unlike Gnostic nonsense the apostolic writings were widely distributed and accepted throughout Christendom.

The Apostle Paul (6 AD- 64 AD) Born a Roman citizen to Jewish parents in Tarsus (eastern Turkey) and studied the Torah in Jerusalem and becomes a member of self-rightous Jewish Pharisee. At around age 30 he is converted to preach Jesus as Messiah. At age 43 at the Council of Jerusalem, Paul argues successfully that Gentile Christians can ignore Jewish law. He does much of his writing by age 51. At age 51 he is arrested in Jerusalem and imprisoned. At age 54 under house arrest in Rome, he writes letters to Philippians, Ephesians, Colossians, and Philemon. And at age 56 in Spain he writes letters to Timothy and Titus and is martyred at age 58.

Valentinus, a Greek (100 AD-160 AD), and likely Jewish, was best known and for a time most successful early Christian gnostic theologian. He became connected with the Christian church, probably to get ahead. But he was bitter as he thought he would become a Roman bishop but was rejected, he drifted into open heresy & founded his own school in Rome becoming the first to invent “Christian” Gnosticism around 130 AD. Ridiculously, he claimed that he had received instruction from a follower of Paul, but we know many followers of Paul followers fell away and are said to have tried to shipwrecked the Christian Faith, serving as wolves in sheep’s clothing by spreading falsehoods with no eyewitnesses left to repudiate false claims. Unfortunately for Valentinus and his Jewish followers, the Christian Apostles writings had been well established for over 80 years and so their Gnostic writings were widely rejected. But these Jewish writers, probably frustrated not being rabbis, continued writing a whole new fraudulent Christian literature loaded with falsehoods all the way to at least 300 AD, with real Christian writers refuting their efforts. Orthodox leaders feared that Gnostic cults would deceive members of their flocks and lead them away from their growing church (to hell and into the arms of Satan). The resultant battles helped remake the church by increased emphasis on apostolic teachings, a tightening of the church hierarchy, and holding strictly to Scriptures. When the Gnostic cult could not prove their validity they lost credibility, but the rabbis continued building the 30+ volumes of the TALMUD which is full of cult and anti-Christian theories and laws. It was certainly reasonable to expect the new Gnostic cult to prove itself and defend its emerging practices, but their opponents of won the war as the Christian scholars argued the Gnostics were heretics who invented myths about Christ, human origins, and blasphemed and created new gospels at whim. Gnostic documents prove the Christian scholars were correct about the folly and propaganda of the Gnostics. The Gnostics even forged the Gospel of Judas to make Judas the greatest of the apostles because he helped Jesus achieve liberation from his body (via murder). They wrote other fraudulent and perverse versions of the Apostles and books of the New Testament only to be discovered as forgeries. Gnostics made out that the books were written by apostles or other famous figures from the Gospels and Acts.

CONCLUSION: Gnosticism was largely an attack on historical Christianity that failed badly.
