Again, 4 Israeli airstrikes on Gaza

Days of Palestine, Gaza Strip –Israeli occupation warplanes struck overnight four targets across the Gaza Strip, security sources said.

Israeli military sources confirmed the strikes, calling them retaliation to two rockets fired from the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.

The attacks targeted three empty places used by Hamas military wing Al-Qassam Brigades as training bases and the fourth place is a farmland in the south of the city of Khan Younis.

No casualties were reported.

Regarding the two very primitive and ineffective rockets launched from Gaza, Palestinian security sources said that Jihadists were behind them. They fired them in response to Hamas crackdown on them in the Strip.

Meanwhile, Israeli Defence Minister Moshe Ya’alon said that “even if last night’s shooting at Israel was by errant global jihadist groups, who wish to challenge Hamas by firing at us, we consider Hamas responsible for what happens in the Gaza Strip.”

He added: “We will not tolerate attempts to harm our citizens. We will not compromise on the security of Israeli citizens and we will not tolerate a return to the reality of a drizzle of rocket fire.”
