Brazil’s Amazon riverside communities receive COVID jabs

Health care workers visit the Nossa Senhora Livramento community on the banks of the Rio Negro near Manaus, in northern Brazil’s Amazonas state, to give Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines to elderly members of riverside communities.

Brazil has recorded nearly 10 million cases of COVID-19 and 234,000 deaths.
