And the purges extended to the Liberal Party as well. Maria Manna who had posted some views expressing skepticism of the official version of 9/11 was dropped as a candidate in late September. “A Liberal candidate who expressed skepticism about the Sept. 11 attacks in the U.S. has resigned as the candidate in the B.C. riding of Cowichan-Malahat-Langford, CBC News has learned. Maria Manna had posted comments on her Facebook page that questioned the official account of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, calling it “the lie.” On Friday, she defended the comments, made in 2010 and 2013, saying they were her “truth” at the time.” (CBC, September 28, 2015) Truth then, but not now? If she’s changed her mind, why not just say so?

Dear Henry, I am an ex-pat Canadian who has lived most of my life in the U.S. I frequently travel back to Canada to visit relatives and have become dismayed at what has happened in recent years. Canadians appear to have succumbed to cult-like voluntary compliance with the brand of political correctness that you complain about on your site. (Dare I identify it?) I now have to carefully tailor my comments so as not to offend my own relatives.

I hail from a region of Northern British Columbia previously recognized for rugged individualism known as the Cariboo. The mainstay of it’s pioneer history was Gold mining and logging with ranching in between. To some degree, this reality remains but the occupants appear to be undergoing a targeted psychological transformation. I visited my tiny home town of Wells last summer only to find it in the throes of a week long Hippie fest known as “Arts Wells”. All of the accompanying free wheeling revelry that you can imagine was being demonstrated.

This is a recent manifestation, as my recollections growing up during the sixties and seventies, we did not hold the hippies in such high esteem but only tolerated their invasion and cultural influence. Most of them were American and Nato draft resisters and we respected their choices on principle. Canada, at the time, maintained the appearance of neutrality and tried to cultivate good relations on all sides. Sadly, I have to say that the politics emanating from Ottawa are reverting to that of a Crown colony.

Canadians have long since surrendered their personal weapons and appear to be surrendering their minds. Another manifestation of this reality is the arrest and prosecution of one of my former neighbors Art Topham who is the owner of the RadicalPress.com website. He is being targeted for supposed hate crimes for exposing the truth about Israel.

Where are all the socially conscious, left leaning Hippies when one of their brethren is being harassed for exercising free speech? It was remarkable to see my own family members back pedaling and denying when I confronted them about this. Some of them were Art Topham’s students when he taught school in our home town.

I have to wonder if this is the shade of things to come for the United States in the future. If you have the time and inclination, please check into Art Topham’s case and consider offering any support or advice that you can.

Personally I hope Stephen Harper wins, its better than having a de-facto Trudeau dynasty with abortion fanatic Justin Trudeau, or a socialist paradise with Mulclair’s NDP. It’s likewise probably better for the economy and peoples bank accounts. I also think that the liberals in this country are naturally cultural Marxists, they force the Marxist rule book on the political system and Conservatives have to play by it.

If the Conservatives win at least we wont have to hear CBC Radio salivating in glee over their microphones, unable to contain their joy that the country is now fully in their claws. Or for that matter, the Huffington Post Canada, or the Globe and Mail, if anyone reads that garbage.

Overall though, what points are the politicians even talking about? The only thing the media reports on is the Niqab issue. A massive country with over 30 million people deciding what party will speak for the country globally and what policies will be enacted at home, and the election will be decided over a head scarf. Thank you reliable Canadian news industry.

I can understand why Mahmoud Ahmadinejad won by landslide. One Canadian interviewer said “he was the only politician I’ve interviewed who actually answers the question you ask him. You may not like his answers, but you know where he stands”.

As far as I know, if my writing this hasn’t yet become an offense, the day is fast approaching when people are going to have their websites pulled, and visits from the neo-Stasi.
