Child killed, two wounded in Israeli strike on Gaza

Days of Palestine, Gaza Strip -Ten-year-old Palestinian child was killed and two others wounded in a series of Israeli airstrikes on Gaza Strip at Saturday night.

The Palestinian child Yassin abu-Khosa, 10, his sister Israa, 6, and brother Ayoub, 13, were wounded in an Israeli airstrike targeted an empty area near their house in Beit-Lahia, northern Gaza Strip.

Spokesman of the Palestinian Ministry of Health Ashraf al-Qidra said that Yassin was immediately killed in the Israeli strike.

He also said that Israa was seriously wounded and she was transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital in central Gaza city for intensive care.

Regarding Ayoub, Al-Qidra said he sustained moderate injuries, but remained in the Indonesian Hospital in the north of the Gaza Strip. He said the boy is currently in stable condition.

According to the ministry of health, tens of other Palestinian citizens were reported traumatised due to the Israeli airstrikes, including at least 25 children.

The Israeli occupation fighter jets targeted tonight several area across the Gaza Strip, claiming they are military training sites.

Israeli media claimed that the airstrikes followed the launch of three Palestinian homemade rockets fired from Gaza; however, they did not provide any proof for that.
