Children to be banned from blowing up balloons, under new EU safety rules

The EU toy safety directive, agreed and implemented by Government, states that balloons must not be blown up by unsupervised children under the age of eight, in case they accidentally swallow them and choke.

Despite having been popular favourites for generations of children, party games including whistles and magnetic fishing games are to be banned because their small parts or chemicals used in making them are decreed to be too risky.

Apparently harmless toys that children have enjoyed for decades are now regarded by EU regulators as posing an unacceptable safety risk.

Whistle blowers, that scroll out into a a long coloured paper tongue when sounded – a party favourite at family Christmas meals – are now classed as unsafe for all children under 14.

  1. OK, I guess they shouldn’t use forks or knives whilst eating, unless SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT, either!!!

In lieu of all the dumbing-down of children through “schooling” and TEEVEE, vaccines (Mercury), aerosol spraying (Aluminum), and the numerous drugs that are given to children for the littlest things, I guess the wise people in Brussels are using forethought. Once the children are turned into Morons, there will be horrible things happen; children sticking their heads into the balloons, sticking little animals into balloons, and of course the very funny forgetting whether you suck a balloon or blow into it (very confusing for a ten-year old I would assume).

Yep, happens all the time, ya just don’t know what durn things a kid will do. Best to keep them tethered and monitored with a camera at all times.

By the sound of it, I believe these adults have already been smitten by some kind of nasty let’s-make-up-some-ridiculous-rules-to-piss-everybody-off type of bug that turns them into anal-squeezer retarded control-freaks. I guess the World of Monty Python was actually a prophetic show, I should have paid more attention.

  2. Madness. What happened to the men in white coats with butterfly nets? They used to show up when someone went crazy in public. Or, was that just Hollywood?

  3. Haha blowing up balloons an unacceptable safety risk! you can’t make this up!
In the meantime; GMO’s, MSG, Fluoride, Radiation, Aspartame, BPA, Pesticides, Mercury, Vaccins and other Big Pharma drugs are perfectly safe!
Yeah right, they really care about our children!
