Awake Goy Tehran, March 8, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister and head of headquarters to follow up implementation of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) Seyed Abbas Araqchi said that establishment of a verification bureau for Iran’s safeguards in International Atomic Energy agency (IAEA) is not contrary to JCPOA.
He added that the report on implementation process of JCPOA will be presented to the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission.
Araqchi said that establishment of such a bureau is not contrary to IAEA responsibilities, adding that Mr. Amano and his colleagues in the agency would fulfill their duties.
Upon law, Foreign Ministry should submit its report three months after implementation of JCPOA to the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, Araqchi added.
