Enrich us O Sun, with your vital spark,
Your eye is the light, midst the chaos and dark!
All greet you when you rise, and sadden when you set,
Behold! all things living, are in your debt!
Through springtime and summer, your powers unfold,
Your light even pierces, the frost winter cold!
There are gods that represent you, so fair and so fine,
These gods we hold sacred… So divine! So divine!
Bathe us, and cleanse us, O sacred Sun!
Nourish and warm us, eternal one!
From the east you come, to the west you go,
Spanning all Midgard, both high and low!
No life lives without you, no words can define!
Golden rays are your treasure… How they shine! How they shine!
