Awake Goy IRNA – An Iraqi source said the explosions heard in Najaf were the result of an electrical wiring fault in an arms depot.
The sources told Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) that the explosions took place in an arms depot of a group of armed forces in the suburb of the holy city, Najaf.
On Wednesday night, some loud explosions were heard in Najaf Province, central south of Iraq.
‘The location of the incident is Bahr Al-Najaf, far away from the old city of Najaf, and nobody has been injured,’ he said.
There has been no official comment on the incident yet.
