Attacking the TSA for its privacy-invasive screening procedures has become a favorite activity for many journalists, especially Matt Drudge. TSA horror stories are often featured prominently on The Drudge Report and he has taken to calling Janet Napolitano, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (of which the TSA is a part) “Big Sis.”

Napolitano, who doesn’t think Drudge “means [the nickname] kindly” said at a recent Politico event that Drudge is wrong in describing DHS programs as Orwellian and that “the privacy impact of new airport screening technology and similar programs are thoroughly vetted before they are implemented,” in Josh Gerstein’s words.

“We want to be conscious of civil liberties and civil rights protections—and we are,” Napolitano said, as reported by Politico.

On the same day as this piece came out, TechDirt reports on a passenger who would likely disagree with the Secretary. After a particularly aggressive patdown in March that might be better described as a feel-up, advice blogger Amy Alkon graphically described how she sobbed loudly while a TSA agent put her hands “into” her — four times. She screamed “You raped me” after the LAX patdown and took the agent’s name with plans to file charges of sexual assault. Those plans fell through after consulting an attorney, but she did blog about it and included the agent’s name, thereby inflicting her own assault — on the agent’s Google search results.

The TSA agent then hired a lawyer who contacted Alkon asking her to remove the post, threatening her with a defamation lawsuit, and asking for a settlement of $500,000. “Rape is a very serious charge,” writes lawyer Vicki Roberts on Thedala Magee’s behalf. She also says that Alkon, on a return trip to the airport in May called her client “a bad person” who had “sexually molested” her.

  1. What a f—ing Bitch Hypocrite! She tramples on the rights of every American protected under the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and now wants to say she is exempt from her very own Nazi Patriot Act Constitution. This F—ing Bitch needs to have the Patriot Act shoved up her Hitler’s hole.

Doesn’t this mean we sue now for our rights violations by them?

People who jump out of airplanes are “conscious” of gravity,, doesnt keep them from thumbing their noses at it.

  3. I’m sure Janet wouldn’t mind her hand in her (dike), she probably goes to Boys Town with the rest of the political scum who like to sexually abuse children.

  4. I wonder how TSA agents would react if people started wearing T-shirts to the airport that state things like “TSA Rape Victim” or “TSA Love You Long Time” or even “TSA=No Happy Ending” Just a thought.

    • I think T shirts like that should be wore everywhere by 300,000,000 Americans or at least those that are not NAZIS.

  5. I would be VERY pleased if Washington D.C. disappeared in a mushroom cloud.

This is NOT a threat. I am just expressing the satisfaction I would feel if the CORPORATION known as the UNITED STATES, being nothing but the communist fascist terrorist tyrannical occupation government that it is, was blown to f’cking kingdom come. I expect them to track me down and kill me for saying this but it is the truth.

  6. By making this acusation they have validated her claims. She could have been any strange voice on the internet, until they validated her. Lets get rid of the DHS and the whole Rocky Horror Picture Show in DC.

Damn it, Janet! It’s like the whole place is over run by a bunch of Transexual Transvestites from Transylvania. Let’s get rid of these guys before they actually get good at being Feds.

    No disrespect to Romania.

  7. Actually this response from the public may be their intent, if their next step is background checks and biometric screenings ( retina scans etc ) on all passengers instead, which is on the way.

    • ‘Trusted Traveler’ program.

  8. You can bet that fugly wench Napolitano doesn’t get go through this BS when it travels. If the ass wipes that come up with this nonsense were subject to the same screening procedures, you can bet they wouldn’t last long.

  9. TSA is getting worse, we all know this. We all need to make a stand against the TSA/DHS. We at SymptomTSA is doing just that, we are people who worked for the agency and are still inside the agency. I worked for the TSA for five years, carried a constitution, refused to harass people and I hate to say it but 98% of the TSA workforce are either corrupt or completely inept.

People need to blog about their experiences with TSA, and help the people who are being unjustly molested. After experiencing what I did, I decided to start SymptomTSA. I have had discrimination, harassment, unconstitutional behavior perpetrated on me and have defended the traveling public because of my OATH as an officer.

The one thing we have to realize is that there are actually good people inside, 9/11 truthers, patriots who are the reason you can get a bottle of water through. 1% of TSA are actually good people, the rest are sheeple, corrupt people.

    Facebook SymptomTSA.

    • There is NO GOOD TSA PERIOD. The people employed by this agency may have been able to use the excuse of ignorance by not realizing what they were getting into at first but now I’m sure they’re all VERY aware of what they’re doing. They have NEVER caught ANY terrorists. They are equal to cops; USELESS.

  10. Keep blogging on the TSA scum till your keyboard breaks. Then get another computer and do not stop. What the TSA scum do it rape and illegal period. If the TSA agents sues you burn down their house.

  11. “the privacy impact of new airport screening technology and similar programs are thoroughly vetted before they are implemented,”

Yes, this is to be completely sure that the TSA understands that they are commanded to molest people.

I’m not advocating violence against their persons, not interested in going to jail for these scum. If I had to spend my paycheck on new tires all the time, I’d soon enough be looking for another job. Get my drift?

  12. Fuck those piece of shit scum TSA trash. I don’t care what anyone says that is sexual assault.

  13. what amazes me is that if a tsa worker actually needs to stick their hands down someones pants, or inside a womans bra to find out whats in there they need to pack it in and flip hamburgers for a living. Attorneys do not want to take on the federal gov so no surprise there, unless there is video and witnesses. Just stop flying, empty the gates and get their attention.

    • That’s exactly what the gov wants. They want us to give up our freedom to travel unhindered and get used to being imprisoned inside our homes. When we give up flying, they win. But how on earth, other than filming their crimes, are we going to travel unmolested?

      • And it wasn’t her bra she was talking about.

    • People are stopping flying. Especially tourist from other countries. The numbers are way down.
