Five Israeli live bullets in body of Palestinian boy

Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation forces shot, wounded on Monday 14-year-old boy with five live bullets in Silwad, east of West Bank city of Ramallah.

Palestinian paramedics said that the Israeli occupation troops, while cracking down on Palestinian protests in the outskirts of Silwad, used live bullets.

According to the paramedics, several Palestinians were wounded, including Ahmad Qantawi, 14, who was shot with five bullets in different parts of his body.

The Palestinian boy was evacuated by an Israeli ambulance to and Israeli hospitals. Medical reports said that he was shot in his stomach, leg and hand, as well as he suffered severe loss of blood.

Since Sunday, the Israeli occupation troops stormed three Palestinian primary schools across the occupied West Bank while students were inside classes.

Witnesses said that school students of two of the schools threw stones at the Israeli troops when they finished classes. Israeli occupation troops responded with tear gas and live bullets, wounding at least 15 students.

Thousands of Palestinians have been shot and wounded by Israeli forces since the start of this Third Intifada, which swept the occupied Palestinian territories at the beginning of October.

Rights groups have repeatedly criticised the Israeli occupation forces over targeting Palestinian children and killing the with cold blood.

Defence for Children said in a report issued in September that the Israeli occupation forces and Jewish extremists had killed at least 1,991 children since 2000.
