Awake Goy Palestinian youth from Gaza succumbed to his wounds sustained by Israeli soldiers during Friday protests along the Gaza borders, Palestinian ministry of heath in Gaza announced on Thursday.
In a brief statement, the ministry of health identified the deceased youth as Anas Shawqi abu-Aser, 19, from central Gaza city.
The youth was shot with a live dum-dum bullets above the abdomen that damaged his intestines along with different parts inside his body.
His condition was described serious since the beginning and he had life-saving treatment at the ICU in Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza until announced dead.
According to the ministry, Abu-Aser’s death brought the number of the peaceful Palestinian protesters killed by the Israeli snipers along the Gaza borders to 50.
Palestinian, Israel and international rights groups along with the UN have accused Israel of using lethal force against peaceful protesters than pose no threat on their life.
The Palestinian protesters have been staging peaceful protests since March 30 to call for the implementation of the US resolution 194 which stipulates the return of the Palestinian refugees forced out of their homes by Zionist gangs, backed by the UK and other Western countries, in 1948.
