Harvey Norman franchisees taken to court over consumer rights

Two Victorian franchises are among nine Harvey Norman stores being taken to court for misrepresenting consumer rights.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has launched the action in the Federal Court.

The ACCC claims the businesses, including stores at Hoppers Crossing and Sale, misled customers over the return and repair of damaged goods.
