IME weekly trading value rises by 17%

TEHRAN (ISNA)- 621,163 MT of commodities worth over $274 million were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) late April with the value and volume of trading experienced a growth of 17% and 11%, respectively.

According to the report from the IME International Affairs and PR, on the domestic and export metals and minerals pit of IME, 374,388 MT of various products worth close to $187 million were traded.

On the trading floor, 304,485 MT of steel products, 55 KT of iron ore, 10,220 MT of copper products, 4,340 MT of aluminum, 200 MT of zinc, 140 MT of molybdenum concentrate as well as 3 Kg of gold bullion were traded.

The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 244,425 MT of different commodities with the total value of $86 million were traded.

On the trading floor, more than 111,245 MT of bitumen, 35,714 MT of polymer products, 48,500 MT of VB, 24,590 MT of lube-cut oil, 16,706 MT of chemical products, 50 MT of insulation, 6,620 MT of sulfur and 1 KT of slaps waxes were traded.

Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor 1 KT of wheat, 500 MT of sugar and 250 MT of crude vegetable oil were traded by the customers.
