Someone warn the tea party: Texas Gov. Rick Perry, the Republican Party’s frontrunner for the 2012 presidential nomination, didn’t always believe publicly-run health care programs run contrary to America’s founding document.

In a mostly forgotten 2001 speech, the Texas governor had kind words for Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and even promised to study a proposal for “bi-national health insurance” that would cover Mexicans and Americans alike.

That’s a very different tune than what Perry’s campaign has been playing since he announced plans to seek the nation’s presidency. In an interview last month, Perry called the nation’s most beloved social programs — Medicare and Social Security — unconstitutional.

Today, for the first time, I heard Rick Perrry’s voice because I searched for any video of a speech.

I instantly cringed.

Moves like a Bush,

tries to act all Texas-zy like a Bush,
does not seem so bright like the younger Bush,
repeats himself like a Bush,
insults my intelligence like a Bush,
pretends to give a shit about Citizens like a Bush,
fails to hide his latent contempt and likely ulterior motives like a Bush,
is likely to cheat in an election like a Bush,
and is apparently oblivious to his inability to make any sense like a Bush.

Not to worry, If Rick read this he probably feel honored right now, to be like a Bush.
It is really frightening to see how quickly the Christian talk radio hosts and the mainstream Republicans jumped to support Perry without knowing his background. This is the same problem that got us Obama when others did the same.

People are judging candidates for President based on superficial hype like giving him credit for things he doesn’t deserve in the Texas economy, jobs, etc. and not considering his support for the NWO agenda and his attendance at the 2007 Bilderbergers. There was no attempt at first vetting the guy, just blindly getting on the bandwagon. Just when was it that people lost their ability to reason or investigate before plunging in to support a candidate? Ron Paul, in his interview with Ron Paul said the same thing, that he cannot understand why people don’t read or do a little checking up on the facts.

I do hope that Ron Paul is going to hit Perry hard on all the NWO agenda stuff and have his come-backs ready for Perry’s come-backs at the debate. This should convince people of who to vote for but we dealing with an almost childish mentality apparently in the American voter. They are pretty easy to fool, so we’ll see.

The driver of an SUV carrying more than 25 suspected illegal immigrants escaped after an attempted traffic stop Wednesday, Pinal County Sheriff’s officials said.

Deputies tried to stop of a Chevrolet Suburban traveling north on Sunland Gin Road for a traffic violation. The SUV sped up to 85 mph while being tracked from the air.

The driver stopped near a river bottom, and more than 25 passengers fled.

Border Patrol responded to help search for the suspects, which is continuing.

“This was just one of three pursuits in the past 24-hours involving my deputies, chasing suspects involved with drug and human smuggling,” said Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu in a statement. “These pursuits put the lives of our deputies and Pinal County citizens in grave danger.”
