RNA – Six medical helicopters were unveiled in Karaj, Alborz Province, west of Tehran on Saturday.
It is the first time that such helicopters are being used as air ambulances in Iran.
They have been bought from Europe Airbus over the past two years, and have resuscitation equipment and stretchers.
The helicopters are to be used for helping injured people on the roads.
