Tehran, May 26, IRNA – Iranian First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri in a message to the newly-elected Prime Minister Binali Yildirim has called for expansion of Tehran-Ankara ties based on the deeply-rooted cultural, historical and religious relations between the two nations.
Jahangiri in his message released on Thursday, felicitated Yildirim on his election as Turkey’s new prime minister.
Iranian first vice president voiced hope for further consolidation of Tehran-Ankara ties during Yildirim’s tenure based on mutual interests.
Jahangiri also wished success to the government of Iran’s friendly neighbor and its people.
