TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Masoud Mosadeghpour from Iran finished in first place at the Asian Junior Open Chess Championships on Tuesday.
In the Rapid event, Iranian International Master Mosadeghpur finished first with 8 points.
Indian Grandmasters Aravindh Chithamabaram came second and S L Narayanan finished in the third place, respectively.
Asian Junior Open & Girls Chess Championships-2016 started at Hotel Park Plaza in New Delhi, India, on Tuesday.
103 players from 12 different countries are participating in the nine-day prestigious championship, which have three formats of Rapid, Standard and Blitz events.
