Awake Goy Head of the Manpower Directorate of the Israel Defence Forces Moti Almoz has decided to pay financial reward to Israeli soldier who killed motionless Palestinian.
The Israeli soldier Elor Azaria shot the Palestinian youth Abdul-Fattah al-Sharif and killed him last year after he was already wounded and lying on the ground bleeding in Al-Khalil.
Almoz decided to pay the personal savings and demobilisation gift to the Israeli Jewish murderer Azaria.
In addition, Azaria will receive 24,000 Israeli Shekels ($6,897), half of the total normally paid to soldiers who complete their military service.
The murderer served just 18 months of his military service, which is supposed to last for three years.
The decision to pay the cash to Azaria came after a decision by Israeli Chief of General Staff Gadi Eizenkot to reduce his 18-month prison sentence to 14 months.
