Israeli forces kidnap 2 Gaza fishermen

Israeli occupation forces opened fire on Palestinian fishermen off the Gaza coast, kidnapped two of them and stole their fishing boats.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military bulldozers staged a limited incursion inside the small Palestinian territory, local sources said.

Witnesses said that Israeli naval forces kidnapped Shabaan and Mohamed au-Riyala after chasing their fishing boats and opening fire at them off the coast of the Gaza city.

Separately, four Israeli military bulldozers crossed about 50 metres past the border lines into Palestinian lands in the town of Al-Qarara south of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

The Israeli bulldozers broke into the Palestinian farms and razed farmers’ stores to the ground while Israeli reconnaissance drones flew overhead.

Israeli military incursions inside the besieged Gaza Strip and near the “buffer zone,” which lies on both land and sea sides of Gaza, have long been a near-daily occurrence.
