Israeli forces kidnap 42 Palestinians, including MP

Israeli occupation forces kidnapped on Monday night 42 Palestinian civilians, including Parliamentarian in different areas across occupied West Bank.

Amid growing tension in the occupied Palestinian territory, with seven Palestinians in the past week, the Israeli forces launched a massive kidnapping campaign last night.

Palestinian sources, including the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club (PPC) said that at least 42 Palestinian civilians were kidnapped.

The sources noted that the locations of at least 15 of them had not been yet till the time of writing this report.

According to the PPC, this number included the MP Omar abdul-Raziq, who served the minister of finance in the 10th Palestinian government. It also included two young girls and a 75-year-old man.

Remarks of Israeli army spokespeople noted that the Israeli army kidnapped Palestinians affiliated to the Hamas movement in particular.

Thousands of Palestinians have been taking to the streets of Jerusalem’s Old City since last Friday, protesting the Israeli occupation placing electronic detectors at the gates leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque.
