Israeli occupation abduct 60 Palestinians in West Bank, Jerusalem

Israeli occupation forces abducted on Monday night 45 Palestinians in Jerusalem’s neighbourhood of Al-Issawiyeh, 15 in different areas in West Bank.

Head of the Committee of Families of Jerusalem Prisoners Amjad abu-Asab said that large number of Israeli occupation forces raided Al-Issawiyeh and broke into several homes.

The Israeli occupation forces broke into the Palestinian homes, woke up people and searched the houses, Abu-Asab said.

At the end of the Israeli occupation raid, the Palestinians families reported the abduction of 45 citizens, he said, noting that most of them are minors.

Meanwhile, he said, the Israeli intelligence services handed over an order to attend an investigation at Salaheddin Police Station.

The Palestinian Prisoner Club (PPC) said that the Israeli occupation forces raided several areas across the occupied West Bank.

In a statement, the PPC said that the Palestinian families reported the abduction of 15 people after the end of the Israeli raid.

According to the statement, the Israeli occupation forces beat a 77-year-old man when he attempted to prevent the abduction of his 15-year-old son.

Rights groups said that there are up to 6,500 Palestinian prisoners inside the Israeli jails, including 57 women and girls, 350 boys, 12 MPs and about 400 under administrative detention.
