Awake Goy Days of Palestine, Gaza Strip -Israeli occupation has arrested Palestinian patient at Erez Crossing while he was in his way to receive medical treatment in occupied West Bank, rights groups revealed on Saturday.
The rights groups said that the Palestinian patient Hani Shorrab was interrogated as soon as he had arrived in the Crossing and then he was arrested.
Shorrab, who has been suffering from a chronic disease for a while and is still in an urgent need for proper medical treatment, was taken to an unknown place.
Limiting passage of Palestinians in Gaza throughout the crossings with the Israeli occupation or Egypt has started ten years ago, when the Israeli siege on Gaza was put in place.
According to the rights group, Shorrab is the fifth case of a Palestinian patient being arrested at the Erez Crossing since the start of 2015.
