K9 Proud to Help Save Three Puppies Dumped in a Bush

Most of the animal rescue stories we stumble upon involve kind-hearted humans who care enough to give the poor souls a second chance at life. This time, however, it was a dog that helped rescue three little puppies abandoned at a dumping ground in Georgia.

K-9 Tek and his partner, trooper Jordan Ennis, spotted the tiny animals hiding behind a bush while they were out for a ride.

“TFC1 Ennis was in southwest Atlanta yesterday in a known stolen car dumping ground. He was driving in an abandoned subdivision when he saw three puppies that had been dumped in a briar patch.”

“He knew no one was coming for them, so he and his K-9, Tek, brought the puppies to Headquarters where they were all promptly adopted,” Georgia Department of Public Safety wrote on their Facebook page.

Tek stayed by the puppies’ side during the ride and comforted them. It looked like he was trying to tell them that things will be just right.

“A Trooper never knows what he may encounter on a shift, but a day with puppies is a good day,” the department added.

Officers are always the first ones to arrive when we find ourselves in trouble, and this time, they found themselves in the right place at the right time to save cute little puppies.
