Leader calls for pursuing violated Iran’s rights by judiciary

Tehran, June 30, IRNA – The judiciary system should put on its agenda pursing the case of Iran’s violated rights during the sanctions, says Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

He made the remarks in a meeting with the Judiciary officials on Wednesday evening.

Ayatollah Khamenei then referred to the illegal seizure of Iranian assets by United States and he called on the judiciary officials to pursue the violated rights of the Iranian people at the international level particularly those rights abolished as a result of the sanctions.

He also encouraged the judiciary system to pursue the rights of the victims of terrorism and react against those states overtly or covertly are supporting the killers.

The Leader also called for the oppressed Muslim figures to be put under legal support across the world.

The human right defined by the West has a wrong basis and the judiciary system should try to elaborate on the logical and strong basis of the Islamic human rights, he said.

The Leader said that turning a blind eye by the United Nations on violation of children’s rights killed in Yemen in exchange for enjoying financial support by certain states is a shame for the mankind.
Ayatollah Khamenei insisted that the case of these children should be pursued at the international level.

The Leader hailed efforts by the Judiciary system and their firm stance in defending revolutionary values, despite all the foreign propaganda launched against Iran’s judiciary power.

He called for the judiciary apparatus to do its best to satisfy people and fight corruption.

Ayatollah Khamenei urged the judiciary system to plan for a decrease in prison terms and to put in place preventive measures in cooperation with other apparatuses.

He also called for a high turnout in the Quds Day rallies in support of Palestinian people.

The Leader received Judiciary chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani and the Judiciary officials Wednesday evening.

The meeting took place to mark the martyrdom anniversary of former Judiciary chief Ayatollah Mohammad Beheshti who was killed along with his colleagues in a terrorist bombing in the beginning years following the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
