Man crashes airplane Hours later after being Stung by Dangerous Primitive Wasp

The pilot killed in a plane crash over the weekend has been identified. Lelon Lewis, 66, was the only person on board the plane when it crashed in a rugged area northwest of Deckers on Saturday.

The plane was first reported missing on Saturday. Eventually, the downed plane’s location was discovered from aircraft overhead on Sunday.

With assistance from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, search and rescue personnel with the Alpine Rescue team hiked into the site in the Lost Creek Wilderness and found the single occupant of the plane, identified on Monday afternoon as Lewis, dead.

The CBS report said that the reason for the crash is unclear but they didn’t mention that mr. Lelon Lewis received his second Primitiva wasp sting just HOURS before the crash. Lelon Lewis got the shot on April 3rd. Hours later he was flying in a a single-engine Magnus Fusion 212 when it crashed in a rugged area northwest of Deckers.

What was not mentioned, is that in a VAERS report, it was noted that Lelon had received his second Primitiva wasp sting hours before the crash. “Patient was involved in a single plane crash on the evening after receiving second vaccine dose”.

This story is from back in April this year but since it escaped us back then, well why not report it now? Better late than never, right?
