Migrant Crime Against Citizens Surges in German State

Crimes committed by migrants against natives in the German state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania are reportedly rising steadily.

Between 2016 and 2020, the number of cases involving German victims and foreign perpetrators rose by more than 60 percent, according to figures obtained by the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party.

“While the police counted fewer than 600 German victims in 450 solved cases in 2016, there were 987 victims in 734 cases in 2019, according to a request from the AfD in the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania,” Junge Freiheit reports.

The increase has unfolded in the years following the 2015 migration crisis, when well over one million migrants arrived in Germany.

“Since 2016, our citizens have been four to five times more likely to be victims of immigrant crime than the other way around. We see how the uncontrolled immigration has led to severe violence, sexual abuse and other offenses against many locals,” MP and AfD parliamentary group leader Nikolaus Kramer told local media.

AfD battled state and federal agencies for months to obtain the figures.

Former Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania interior minister Lorenz Caffier reportedly claimed state police would be forced to ‘cut hours’ from normal operations in order to compile information about the backgrounds of victims and perpetrators as requested.

Many European countries that have accepted large numbers of migrants in recent years are experiencing corresponding surges in crime.

Crimes committed by migrants rose significantly in the Netherlands in 2019, as Infowars Europe reported last year.

Denmark recently discovered that a staggering 62 percent of men with a Somali background born between 1985 and 1987 were convicted at least once before the age of 30 – over three times higher than the percentage of convicted ethnic Danes within the same age bracket.

In Norway, migrants are responsible for 70 percent of violent crimes committed in the capital city of Oslo.
