She was just 10 years old when it started, and the rape continued for years.
A now-former Memphis police officer, Cornelius Monger, has been found guilty.
He raped her multiple times throughout many years.
Even worse, the victim was his own sibling, leading to a charge of incest as well.
Officer Monger was found guilty of statutory rape by an authority figure, sexual battery by an authority figure, and incest.
Officer Monger’s father also participated in raping the victim.
Officer Monger is 36-yrs-old and his father is 64-yrs-old.
The child started to be raped at the age of 10, according to reports.
Officer Monger is scheduled to be sentenced on January 15, 2016.
He has been “fired” after the reports surfaced.
He worked as a police officer for nearly a decade.
One has to wonder how many children he came into contact with during those years.
Children used to be taught to blindly trust cops.
But given that rape and abuse by authority figures is so prevalent, many parents nowadays teach their children to avoid cops whenever practically possible.
