The Queensland Opposition is expected to target the Government over job cuts when State Parliament resumes today.

Another public service protest will be held outside Parliament House this evening – with teachers rallying over the latest pay offer.

Education Minister John-Paul Langbroek says there are more budget cuts to come in his department over the next few days.

Legislation to be debated this week includes an increase in fines for traffic and other offences.

The Government will also move to re-instate legislation to make lying to the Parliament a criminal offence.
