President Trump: ‘If You Love America, Vote for Me in 2024’

President Trump urges Americans to vote for him in 2024 in strongest hint yet that he's running

Donald Trump says Americans who want to save the Republic from the ‘evil’ grip of the Democratic Party need to vote for him in 2024.

In his biggest hint to-date that he is running in 2024, Trump told former British politician Nigel Farage that an official announcement about his presidential run is imminent.

Farage asked Trump why he would “give up an amazing life” and re-enter politics, which Farage described as “absolute hell.”

“If you love the country, you have no choice,” Trump said.

“It’s not a question … this is a wonderful, beautiful life—but I like that too because I was helping people. That’s why I did it,” he continued.

“And I think you’ll be happy in the future, too.”

DailyMail reports: Earlier this week the former president claimed that a parade of Republicans had making their way to Mar-a-Lago and begging to be put on the 2024 ticket as his  vice president.

‘They’re all begging me. They all come here,’ Trump told an adviser, who shared his comments with Politico for a story about the ex-president’s veepstakes.

Both South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have spent time with Trump at Mar-a-Lago, which increased the chatter about them landing on the ticket.

Trump and his former vice president Mike Pence fell out over his election fraud claims, when Pence refused Trump’s request to block certification of the election results.

Trump said in late September that only ‘a bad call from a doctor’ could stop him from running for president in 2024.

Asked by Real America’s Voice host David Brody what might prevent him from running again, Trump responded: ‘Well, I don’t — I guess a bad call from a doctor or something, right?’

‘Things happen. Through God, they happen,’ he added. ‘But I feel so good.’

Trump’s aides have reportedly convinced the former president from formally announcing until after the midterm elections.

Those in Donald Trump’s inner circle had to talk the former president out of announcing his 2024 run in light of the Afghanistan chaos in August, as they convinced him it would draw attention away from the midterms and possibly hinder his TV appearances.

Such an announcement would complicate the former president’s new fundraising structure and his appearances on broadcast networks could then trigger equal time rules, advisers said, according to three sources who spoke to the Washington Post.

But the former president constantly tells advisers: ‘I’m running.’

Advisers also expressed concern that if Trump announced a run Democrats would frame the 2022 midterms around his candidacy to boost turnout.

Trump could also be held responsible if Republicans don’t take back the House and Senate if he were fighting on their behalf as a fellow candidate.

‘The biggest point we drove home was that he doesn’t want to own the midterms if we don’t win back the House or Senate,’ said one source familiar with the talks.

‘He tacitly keeps the 2024 crowd on notice that nobody can move a major muscle until he decides what he’s doing,’ Kellyanne Conway, former Trump adviser, said. ‘As for 2024, there has been a shift from intention to urgency as he watches in horror the many failings of this administration.’

Trump knows that other GOP stars will back off once he jumps into the field, rather than trigger all-out war within the party.

Trump was confident he would beat Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in a Sunday interview with Yahoo Finance, even as he said he did not think it would come down to a face-off.

‘If I faced him, I’d beat him like I would beat everyone else,’ Trump declared.

‘I don’t think I will face him,’ Trump said, predicting: ‘I think most people would drop out, I think he would drop out.’

Asked for confirmation of the report, a Trump spokesperson pointed DailyMail.com to comments from Trump spokesman Taylor Budowich, who told the Washington Post: ‘President Trump remains committed and engaged in Saving America from the disastrous leadership of the Communist Democrats,’ he wrote in an email. ‘All avenues to achieving that remain on the table.’

Trump has been holding rallies  holding rallies much like the ones of his campaign in critical swing states across the nation.

His fundraising efforts have hardly let up from the days leading up to the election, though most of his appeals are directed toward independent PACs and cannot be used for a future presidential campaign.

Allies and advisers say the money is designed to ‘show strength’ ahead of 2024 and that he plans to donate some of it to candidates he has endorsed in the 2022 midterms.

Ten of 13 current and former Trump advisers said they believed he would run, two said it was a public relations ploy and one said they didn’t know, according to the Post.

But Donald Trump’s disgraced ex-fixer says he’s convinced the former president won’t run for the White House again – and that he’s only teasing a second stint in office to keep donor cash flowing in.

Cohen, speaking to Meet the Press on Sunday, said that Trump will not run and merely hold on for as long as possible to collect money from donors and ‘keep the grift going.’

The former lawyer turned Trump critic – who spent prison time for tax evasion and campaign finance violations – said that Trump is running the greatest grift in American history.

‘Donald Trump has made it very clear, right, that he is grifting off of the American people, these supporters, these individuals that are just sending money to him at record levels,’ Cohen told host Chuck Todd.

‘It’s really amazing that people don’t see exactly what the guy is doing,’ he added. In August, Trump was revealed to have raised more than $100 million from donors since leaving office, with that war chest likely to have swollen substantially since then.

Cohen, while promoting his book Disloyal and podcast Mea Culpa, referred to the former president as a sociopath.

‘Please understand … and this is really important for all of the viewers as well. One of the things Donald Trump has done is grift off of the ‘Big Lie’ that the election was stolen from him in 2020. It was not stolen from him.’

The former lawyer believes that Trump is using the possibility of campaigning to continue to complain about his belief that the election was stolen.

However, Cohen added, if Trump runs in 2024 and fails to win again, the ‘Big Lie’ would be taken away from him.

‘If he loses, which he will in 2024, what happens to the “Big Lie?” The big lie disappears. He can’t now be like the boy who cried wolf. ‘Oh, they stole it from me in 2020 — they now stole it from me in 2024.’ Right? Now, that goes out the door and there goes his money,’ Cohen said.
