Putin discusses with National Security Council situation in north Syria

SANA – Russian President, Vladimir Putin, discussed with members of the Russian National Security council the latest developments in Syria and the need for avoiding any acts that pose threat to the solution to the crisis in the country.

“Participants in the meeting discussed, in details, the situation in Syria in light of the escalation in the north-eastern part of Syria,” RT quoted spokesman of the Kremlin, Dmitri Peskov, as saying.

Army of the Turkish regime launched an aggression on Monday on regions in Hasaka northern countryside, targeting sites for separatist QSD militias near illegitimate Simalka crossing point.

Peskov added that talks in the meeting asserted the need for avoiding any acts that could hinder the political process in Syria.
