Rapture 2021: The Secret 3,600 Year Doom Cycle

“Then there will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and there will be anguish on the earth among nations bewildered by the roaring sea and waves. People will faint from fear and expectation of the things that are coming on the world, because the celestial powers will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But when these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near!”

Then He told them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. As soon as they put out leaves you can see for yourselves and recognize that summer is already near. In the same way, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near. I assure you: This generation will certainly not pass away until all things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away. (Luke 21:25-33)

In the Book of Luke, chapter 21, he records the words of Jesus about the signs of the end of the age, and the Great Tribulation. Two items are linked together – the “nations bewildered by the roaring sea and waves” and the last generation.

What causes the roaring sea and waves? Has such a thing happened before in Earth’s history?? All evidence proves these extinction-level events happen in cycles:

Death from Above: Mass Extinctions Tied to Comet Strikes / Space.com, November 3, 2015

comet impact 4 ani

Many of Earth’s mass extinctions over the eons have been caused by comet strikes, a new study suggests.

Over the past 260 million years, cratering rates on Earth have peaked every 26 million years or so, in tune with a previously noted cycle of mass-extinction events, researchers found. Furthermore, five of the six largest impact craters known from the last quarter-billion years — including the 112-mile-wide (180 kilometers) crater associated with the demise of the dinosaurs 65 million years ago — were gouged out at roughly the same time that a mass extinction occurred.

graph showing the dates of mass extinctions by asteroids

“The correlation between the formation of these impacts and extinction events over the past 260 million years is striking and suggests a cause-and-effect relationship,” study lead author Michael Rampino, a geologist at New York University, said in a statement. “This cosmic cycle of death and destruction has without a doubt affected the history of life on our planet.”

The finding, which was published online last month in the journal Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, lends support to the venerable but much-debated “death from above” hypothesis set forth to explain the periodicity observed in Earth’s mass extinctions.

Every 26 million years or so, the idea goes, our solar system travels through the Milky Way galaxy’s dense midplane, and the resulting gravitational jostles send comets that normally reside in the distant Oort Cloud barreling toward Earth and other planets close to the sun.

The Sun and planets cycle through the crowded mid-plane of the Milky Way Galaxy about every 30 million years

Much of the gravitational perturbation, according to this hypothesis, is caused by mysterious dark matter, which far outweighs “normal” matter but neither emits nor absorbs light and is therefore difficult to study. And dark matter may further contribute to mass extinctions, Rampino suggested in a controversial study published earlier this year, by heating up Earth from the inside, leading to huge, climate-altering volcanic eruptions.

volcanic explosion ani

While Rampino and Caldeira identified 10 mass extinctions in the last 260 million years, some other metrics recognize just five such events in the past 450 million years or so. (It depends on how high above background rates an extinction event must be to qualify as “mass.”)

The worst of these “Big Five” events occurred about 250 million years ago, at the end of the Permian geologic period. During this event, known as “The Great Dying,” about 90 percent of Earth’s species was lost. For comparison, scientists estimate that the dino-killing event 65 million years ago took out 50 to 75 percent of all species.

The 3,600 Year Doom Cycle

A massive amount of evidence shows that every 3,600 years or so, the Earth experiences a doomsday similar to the 26 million year cycle. The last cycle was around 1600 BC, so we are overdue for the next one now.

Every 3,600 years, the Earth is plagued by comet strikes, megaquakes and tsunamis, solar flares, and volcanoes, and causes an ice age.

We will examine the last 4 cycles – 3,600 years ago, 7,200 years ago, 10,800 years ago, and 14,400 years ago.

Earthquakes, El Ninos Fatal To Earliest Civilization In Americas / University of Florida, January 20, 2009

ScienceDaily (Jan. 20, 2009) — First came the earthquakes, then the torrential rains. But the relentless march of sand across once fertile fields and bays, a process set in motion by the quakes and flooding, is probably what did in America’s earliest civilization.

So concludes a group of anthropologists in a new assessment of the demise of the coastal Peruvian people who built the earliest, largest structures in North or South America before disappearing in the space of a few generations more than 3,600 years ago.

“This maritime farming community had been successful for over 2,000 years, they had no incentive to change, and then all of a sudden, ‘boom,’” said Mike Moseley, a distinguished professor of anthropology at the University of Florida. “They just got the props knocked out from under them.”

Mammoth’s last stand / Nature Climate Change, April 17, 2008

The extinction of the woolly mammoth some 3,600 years ago was driven by the disappearance of its icy habitat combined with the emergence of human hunters, scientists have confirmed. The relative importance of climate and hunting for the mammoth’s fate has long been debated but rarely assessed quantitatively.

Ancient desertification of Sahara called abrupt, ruinous / Deseret News, July 16, 1999

WASHINGTON (AP) — The rains stopped coming, the temperature rose and the great grasslands of North Africa turned to desert a few thousand years ago — changes that may have helped spur development of civilization in the Nile Valley.

The change to today’s arid climate was not gradual, but occurred in two episodes — the first 6,700 to 5,500 years ago and the second 4,000 to 3,600 years ago, according to a paper published Thursday by the journal Geophysical Research Letters.

“The latter was very severe, ruining ancient civilizations and socio-economic systems,” the researchers wrote.

A team of researchers headed by Martin Claussen of Germany’s Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research analyzed computer models of climate over the past several thousand years.

They concluded that the change to today’s desert climate in the Sahara was triggered by changes in the Earth’s orbit and the tilt of Earth’s axis.

Santorini eruption much larger than originally believed / University of Rhode Island, August 23, 2006

KINGSTON, R.I. – August 23, 2006 – An international team of scientists has found that the second largest volcanic eruption in human history, the massive Bronze Age eruption of Thera in Greece, was much larger and more widespread than previously believed.

During research expeditions in April and June, the scientists from the University of Rhode Island and the Hellenic Center for Marine Research found deposits of volcanic pumice and ash 10 to 80 meters thick extending out 20 to 30 kilometers in all directions from the Greek island of Santorini.

“These deposits have changed our thinking about the total volume of erupted material from the Minoan eruption,” said URI volcanologist Haraldur Sigurdsson.

In 1991 Sigurdsson and his URI colleague Steven Carey had estimated that 39 cubic kilometers of magma and rock had erupted from the volcano around 1600 B.C., based on fallout they observed on land. The new evidence of the marine deposits resulted in an upward adjustment in their estimate to about 60 cubic kilometers. (The eruption of Mount Tambora in Indonesia in 1815 is the largest known volcanic eruption, with approximately 100 cubic kilometers of material ejected.)

An eruption of this size likely had far-reaching impacts on the environment and civilizations in the region. The much-smaller Krakatau eruption of 1883 in Indonesia created a 100-foot-high tsunami that killed 36,000 people, as well as pyroclastic flows that traveled 40 kilometers across the surface of the seas killing 1,000 people on nearby islands. The Thera eruption would likely have generated an even larger tsunami and pyroclastic flows that traveled much farther over the surface of the sea.

“Given what we know about Krakatau, the effects of the Thera eruption would have been quite dramatic,” said Carey, a co-leader of this year’s expeditions. “The area affected would have been very widespread, with much greater impacts on the people living there than we had considered before.”

Irish tree rings, Santorini and volcanic dust veils / Nature, March 24, 1988

There has recently been renewed interest in the dating of the violent eruption of the Aegean island of Santorini in the second millennium BC, both by its possible effects on tree-ring growth in the United States1 (suggesting a date of 1628–1626 BC), and by acidity peaks in ice cores from South Greenland2 (suggesting 1645 BC). We now show that oak trees growing on bogs in Northern Ireland produce significant concentrations of extremely narrow rings within a few periods less than 20 years long and that these periods correspond to the dates suggested by other methods for major volcanic eruptions. In particular, one of them, corresponding to a short period beginning in 1628 BC, was probably caused by Santorini. This date is qualitatively better than those derived from carbon-14 or ice cores, because it is based on an absolute tree-ring chronology.

Major Climate Change Occurred 5,200 Years Ago: Evidence Suggests That History Could Repeat Itself / Ohio State University, December 16, 2004

Glaciologist Lonnie Thompson worries that he may have found clues that show history repeating itself, and if he is right, the result could have important implications to modern society.

Thompson has spent his career trekking to the far corners of the world to find remote ice fields and then bring back cores drilled from their centers. Within those cores are the records of ancient climate from across the globe.

From the mountains of data drawn by analyzing countless ice cores, and a meticulous review of sometimes obscure historic records, Thompson and his research team at Ohio State University are convinced that the global climate has changed dramatically.

But more importantly, they believe it has happened at least once before, and the results were nearly catastrophic to emerging cultures at the time. He outlined his interpretations and fears today at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union in San Francisco.

A professor of geological sciences at Ohio State and a researcher with the Byrd Polar Research Center, Thompson points to markers in numerous records suggesting that the climate was altered suddenly some 5,200 years ago with severe impacts.

He points to perfectly preserved plants he discovered that recently emerged from the Quelccaya ice cap in the Peruvian Andes as that glacier retreats. This monstrous glacier, some 551 feet (168 meters) deep, has shown an exponentially increasing rate of retreat since his first observations in 1963.

The plants were carbon-dated to determine their age and tests indicated they had been buried by the ice for perhaps 5,200 years. That suggests that somehow, the climate had shifted suddenly and severely to capture the plants and preserve them until now.

In 1991, hikers found the preserved body of a man trapped in an Alpine glacier and freed as it retreated. Later tests showed that the human – dubbed Oetzi – became trapped and died around 5,200 years ago.

Thompson points to a study of tree rings from Ireland and England that span a period of 7,000 years. The point in that record when the tree rings were narrowest – suggesting the driest period experienced by the trees – was approximately 5,200 years ago.

He points to ice core records showing the ratio of two oxygen isotopes retrieved from the ice fields atop Africa’s Mount Kilimanjaro. A proxy for atmospheric temperature at the time snow fell, the records are at their lowest 5,200 years before now.

He lists the shift by the Sahara Desert from a habitable region to a barren desert; major changes in plant pollen uncovered from lakebed cores in South America, and the record lowest levels of methane retrieved from ice cores from Greenland and Antarctica and all occurred at the same time – 5,200 years ago.

“Something happened back at this time and it was monumental,” Thompson said. “But it didn’t seem monumental to humans then because there were only approximately 250 million people occupying the planet, compared to the 6.4 billion we now have.

“The evidence clearly points back to this point in history and to some event that occurred. It also points to similar changes occurring in today’s climate as well,” he said.

“To me, these are things we really need to be concerned about.”

The impact of a climate change of that magnitude on a modern world would be tremendous, he said. Seventy percent of the population lives in the world’s tropics and major climate changes would directly impact most of them.

Thompson believes that the 5,200-year old event may have been caused by a dramatic fluctuation in solar energy reaching the earth. Scientists know that a historic global cooling called the Little Ice Age, from 1450 to 1850 A.D., coincided with two periods of decreased solar activity.

Evidence shows that around 5,200 years ago, solar output first dropped precipitously and then surged over a short period. It is this huge solar energy oscillation that Thompson believes may have triggered the climate change he sees in all those records.

Prehistoric North Sea ‘Atlantis’ hit by 5m tsunami / BBC, May 1, 2014

Prehistoric North Sea Atlantis hit by 5m tsunami

A prehistoric “Atlantis” in the North Sea may have been abandoned after being hit by a 5m tsunami 8,200 years ago. The wave was generated by a catastrophic subsea landslide off the coast of Norway. Analysis suggests the tsunami over-ran Doggerland, a low-lying landmass that has since vanished beneath the waves.

“It was abandoned by Mesolithic tribes about 8,000 years ago, which is when the Storegga slide happened,” said Dr Jon Hill from Imperial College London.

The wave could have wiped out the last people to occupy this island.

The research has been submitted to the journal Ocean Modelling and is being presented at the European Geosciences Union General Assembly in Vienna this week. Dr Hill and his Imperial-based colleagues Gareth Collins, Alexandros Avdis, Stephan Kramer and Matthew Piggott used computer simulations to explore the likely effects of the Norwegian landslide.

He told BBC News: “We were the first ever group to model the Storegga tsunami with Doggerland in place. Previous studies have used the modern bathymetry (ocean depth).”

As such, the study gives the most detailed insight yet into the likely impacts of the huge landslip and its associated tsunami wave on this lost landmass.

Dr Hill told BBC News: “The impact on anyone who was living on Doggerland at the time would have been massive – comparable to the Japanese tsunami of 2011.”

The resilience of postglacial hunter-gatherers to abrupt climate change / Nature Ecology & Evolution, March 26, 2018

Understanding the resilience of early societies to climate change is an essential part of exploring the environmental sensitivity of human populations. There is significant interest in the role of abrupt climate events as a driver of early Holocene human activity, but there are very few well-dated records directly compared with local climate archives. Here, we present evidence from the internationally important Mesolithic site of Star Carr showing occupation during the early Holocene, which is directly compared with a high-resolution palaeoclimate record from neighbouring lake beds. We show that—once established—there was intensive human activity at the site for several hundred years when the community was subject to multiple, severe, abrupt climate events that impacted air temperatures, the landscape and the ecosystem of the region.

The response of prehistoric societies to abrupt climate change is fundamental to our understanding of the resilience of early populations to environmental drivers. Rapid changes in temperature and precipitation, and their concomitant impact on landscape and ecosystems, have been argued to lead to adaptations within early societies or, in extreme cases, the abandonment of a region. In this respect the early part of the Holocene was a key time interval. This period was characterized by numerous Abrupt Climatic Events (ACEs, defined here as centennial-scale abrupt climatic oscillations), triggered by ice-ocean interaction during the final wastage of northern hemisphere ice sheets, and was critical to the postglacial recolonization of northern Europe.

The Younger Dryas / NOAA, January 1, 2000

The Younger Dryas is one of the most well known examples of abrupt change. About 14,500 years ago, Earth’s climate began to shift from a cold glacial world to a warmer interglacial state. Partway through this transition, temperatures in the Northern Hemisphere suddenly returned to near-glacial conditions. This near-glacial period is called the Younger Dryas, named after a flower (Dryas octopetala) that grows in cold conditions and that became common in Europe during this time. The end of the Younger Dryas, about 11,500 years ago, was particularly abrupt. In Greenland, temperatures rose 10°C (18°F) in a decade (Alley 2000). Other proxy records, including varved lake sediments in Europe, also display these abrupt shifts (Brauer et al. 2008).

Extraordinary Biomass-Burning Episode and Impact Winter Triggered by the Younger Dryas Cosmic Impact ∼12,800 Years Ago / The Journal of Geology, March 2018

The paper’s 24 authors include KU Emeritus Professor of Physics & Astronomy Adrian Melott and Professor Brian Thomas, a 2005 doctoral graduate from KU, now at Washburn University.

“The work includes measurements made at more than 170 different sites across the world,” Melott said.

The KU researcher and his colleagues believe the data suggests the disaster was touched off when Earth collided with fragments of a disintegrating comet that was roughly 62 miles in diameter — the remnants of which persist within our solar system to this day.

“The hypothesis is that a large comet fragmented and the chunks impacted the Earth, causing this disaster,” said Melott. “A number of different chemical signatures — carbon dioxide, nitrate, ammonia and others — all seem to indicate that an astonishing 10 percent of the Earth’s land surface, or about 10 million square kilometers, was consumed by fires.”

Multiple lines of evidence for possible Human population decline/settlement reorganization during the early Younger Dryas / ScienceDirect, October 15, 2011

Three approaches are used to test whether or not human populations across North America were affected by abrupt climate change and/or other environmental factors associated with the onset of the Younger Dryas (YD) cooling episode at ca. 12,900 cal BP. They are: (1) frequency analyses of Paleoindian projectile points from across North America; (2) time series of lithic assemblages from eleven Paleoindian quarry sites in the southeastern United States; and (3) summed probability analyses (SPA) of radiocarbon dates from cultural (human-related) sites across North America and parts of the Old World. The results of each analysis suggest a significant decline and/or reorganization in human population during the early centuries of the YD, varying in extent by region. Archaeological settings formerly heavily utilized, such as stone quarries in the southeastern U.S., appear to have been largely abandoned, while over large areas, a substantial decline occurred in the numbers of diagnostic projectile points and cultural radiocarbon dates. Later in the YD, beginning after about 12,600 cal BP, there was an apparent resurgence in population and/or settlements in many areas, as indicated by increases in projectile points, quarry usage, and human-related radiocarbon ages.

To summarize, the evidence shows that the Earth is plagued every 3,600 years by comet strikes, tsunamis, and volcanoes, that cause an ice age.

We are due a repeat performance around now. Indeed, the American Meteor Society’s records of observed fireballs worldwide over the past 13 years suggest that the ‘show’ might actually have already begun.

Comet Strikes

Then I saw Him open the sixth seal. A violent earthquake occurred; the sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair; the entire moon became like blood; the stars of heaven fell to the earth as a fig tree drops its unripe figs when shaken by a high wind; the sky separated like a scroll being rolled up; and every mountain and island was moved from its place.

As the second half of the 7 years of Tribulation progresses, the wrath of God is fully unleashed upon the earth. The first three Trumpet judgments are clearly from “falling stars”:

The first angel blew his trumpet, and hail and fire, mixed with blood, were hurled to the earth. So a third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.

The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain ablaze with fire was hurled into the sea. So a third of the sea became blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from heaven. It fell on a third of the rivers and springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood, and a third of the waters became wormwood. So, many of the people died from the waters, because they had been made bitter. (Revelation 8:7-11)

As the 7 year Tribulation reaches the end, the judgments become so severe that the “Great Dying” reaches the climax. These are the Bowl Judgments, that end with the destruction of Babylon the Great:

comet 1

Then the seventh poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the sanctuary from the throne, saying, “It is done!” There were flashes of lightning and rumblings of thunder. And a severe earthquake occurred like no other since man has been on the earth—so great was the quake. The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the Great was remembered in God’s presence; He gave her the cup filled with the wine of His fierce anger. Every island fled, and the mountains disappeared. Enormous hailstones, each weighing about 100 pounds, fell from the sky on people, and they blasphemed God for the plague of hail because that plague was extremely severe. (Revelation 16:17-21)

Now on that day, the day when Gog comes against the land of Israel”—this is the declaration of the Lord God—“My wrath will flare up. I swear in My zeal and fiery rage: On that day there will be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. The fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals of the field, every creature that crawls on the ground, and every human being on the face of the earth will tremble before Me. The mountains will be thrown down, the cliffs will collapse, and every wall will fall to the ground. (Ezekiel 38:17-20)

I will bring you against the mountains of Israel. Then I will knock your bow from your left hand and make your arrows drop from your right hand. You, all your troops, and the peoples who are with you will fall on the mountains of Israel. (Ezekiel 39:1-4)

One of the critical signs are pointing to the imminent Rapture of the Church is the invasion of Israel. This invasion was foretold in Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38. There will be an escalation between Iran and Israel, that will reach the point of no return. One of the major turning points in the battle will be a megaquake that causes the invading armies to “fall on the mountains of Israel.”

Megathrust earthquakes are the world’s largest earthquakes. The last Cascadia earthquake is estimated at magnitude 9. A megathrust earthquake in Chile in 1960 was magnitude 9.5, and one in Alaska in 1964 was magnitude 9.2. The 2011 tsunami that devastated Japan was caused by a magnitude 9.0–9.1 undersea megathrust earthquake.

It is theoretically possible that the world could see a quake with a magnitude of around 10, a researcher at Tohoku University told the government’s Coordinating Committee for Earthquake Prediction, Japan.

The energy of such an earthquake would be 30 times greater than the magnitude 9.0 quake that hit the northeast on March 11, 2011.

No magnitude 10 earthquake has ever been observed. The most powerful quake ever recorded was a magnitude 9.5 temblor in Chile in 1960.

A magnitude 10 quake would likely cause ground motions for up to an hour, with tsunami hitting while the shaking was still going on, according to the research.

What is the primary cause of the 3,600-year cycle of doom?

From ancient Sumerian texts, there was a description that visitors came from a yet discovered planet that periodically enters our Solar System. Intriguingly, mainstream science has made an astounding discovery that may indicate that Nibiru is real.

The research was published by the California Institute of Technology in January of 2016. While the so-called “Ninth Planet” has not been directly observed, there is mathematical evidence for its existence. The model in question would answer a number of other mysteries if indeed a ninth planet is in orbit around the sun.

The studies were conducted using computer simulations and mathematical modeling by Mike Brown and Konstantin Batygin. As Brown explains, “There have only been two true planets discovered since ancient times, and this would be a third.”

  • The orbits of the objects are all tilted the same way; 30 degrees “downward.”
  • Computer simulations that show there are more objects “tilted with respect to the solar plane.”
  • Planet Nine could be responsible for the tilt of the planets in our solar system; the plane of the planet’s orbit is tilted about 6 degrees compared to the Sun’s equator.
  • Some objects from the Kuiper Belt orbit in the opposite direction from everything else in the solar system.
