Russian Foreign Ministry on the US, Canada, and EU

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova (MZ below) commented on the State Department’s duplicitous human rights report, saying:
The Biden regime “should…focus on developments in the US.”
“A cursory inspection of this large but essentially hollow document, including the chapter on Russia, leaves one with a strong feeling of déjà vu.”
The report includes beginning-to-end “double standards.”
Washington’s view of other nations depends on whether they bow to its interests.
Sovereign independent ones free from US control are vilified.
At the same time, the most flagrant international law breaches by the US and its imperial partners are ignored.
The world’s leading human rights USA is omitted entirely from the State Department report.
China reports annually on US human rights abuses.
MZ: Beijing’s reports provide “facts” about US political disorder, interethnic conflicts…social division,” and flagrant international law breaches.
On all things related to human rights and the rule of law, the US far and away is the world’s leading abuser.
MZ cited Sergey Lavrov saying that the US and West long ago abandoned the rule of law in pursuit of their diabolical aims.
Its war on humanity rages endlessly at home and abroad with no prospect of changing its wicked ways.
MZ slammed illegal US interference in the internal affairs of other nations worldwide.
Its ruling regimes “have blood on (their) hands” going back decades.
Citing examples, MZ noted an earlier 9/11 coup d’etat against the rule of law by the US in Chile.
Elevating Augusto Pinochet to power on 9/11/73 eliminated the hemisphere’s leading democracy under Salvador Allende.
A 17-year reign of terror followed. In the 1950s, the first ever CIA coups replaced legitimate governments in Iran and Guatemala with fascist dictatorships — controlled by the US as vassal states.
During the 1980s, US Central American wars in Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, and Panama were responsible for over 300,000 deaths, countless thousands brutally tortured, and millions forced into exile.
US post-WW II wars by other means have been raging against North Korea for over 70 years, Cuba for 61 years, Iran for 42 years, Venezuela for over 22 years, and numerous other countries for not bending to Washington’s will.
MZ discussed all of the above and other flagrant US breaches of international law — notably its post-9/11 wars of aggression against invented enemies.
MZ: Whenever the US makes accusations against other nations, its ruling regimes “should think about their own history.”
“They don’t need to read books. It requires effort.”
“All they need to do is look at their (own dirty) hands.”
MZ slammed US colonized Canada for imposing more illegal sanctions on Russia, adding:
Its extrajudicial actions “show official Ottawa’s morbid stubbornness as it continues to deny objective reality” by operating in cahoots with its US imperial master.
Its ruling regimes long ago sold their souls to Washington.
“The Canadian authorities’ attempts to tell sovereign countries how to live and what values to uphold undermine Canada’s reputation and plunge it into confrontation with an increasing number of significant international players.”
“Russia will not leave Ottawa’s attack unanswered. We are now working on the response.”
MZ slammed EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell for falsely accusing China and Russia of partnering in an “adversarial relationship,” adding:
“We interpret these (unacceptable) statements…as an attempt to distort things beyond recognition.”
“With its latest statements and illegitimate sanctions against Russia and China, the European Union continues its unfriendly policy of alienating itself from its neighbors on the Eurasian continent.”
“The EU is back to the language of the Cold War in the diplomatic discourse, promoting an obsolete bloc-related thinking and deepening the dividing lines.”
“The EU’s attempts to talk to others from a position of strength are very dangerous because they can destabilize international relations.”
“By keeping this up, Brussels risks being left on the sidelines of world economic development, as its center is shifting to Asia.”
In stark contrast to US/EU war on humanity in their own countries and abroad, China and Russia prioritize peace, cooperative relations with other nations, and observance of international law principles.
