The Justice Department wrote a secret memorandum authorizing the lethal targeting of Anwar al-Aulaqi, the American-born radical cleric who was killed by a U.S. drone strike Friday, according to administration officials.
The document was produced following a review of the legal issues raised by striking a U.S. citizen and involved senior lawyers from across the administration. There was no dissent about the legality of killing Aulaqi, the officials said.
“What constitutes due process in this case is a due process in war,” said one of the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss closely held deliberations within the administration.
The administration has faced a legal challenge and public criticism for targeting Aulaqi, who was born in New Mexico, because of constitutional protections afforded U.S. citizens. The memorandum may represent an attempt to resolve, at least internally, a legal debate over whether a president can order the killing of U.S. citizens overseas as a counterterrorism measure.

You can see that the pentagon is running this President, and with that, I truly feel sorry for him. I’m sure Obama had other things to do with his Presidency then looking for suspects to kill, it’s definitely not in his character. Yeah, this rape against the American people is surely not in the President’s hands either and is certainly bigger then the Presidency.
The is how it works when a republican does it, it is bad, when a democrat does it it is good. I still don’t get the Hegelian dialectic in our press. Our press is on the side of the democrats always, except FOX and Fox has been moving left since 2008. If Bush did this he would be a cowboy, wanted dead or alive, and they would have constitutional lawyers on saying this was bad, But since Obama did it its perfect and wonderful and sainted. Does this cause a split on the vote? Do some vote republican because the press is on the democrats side and some vote democrat because they want to be with the in crowd? Face it most Hollywood stars, rock stars, pop stars, media, intellectuals, educators, comedians, last night talk show hosts, etc., are with the democrats.

The democrats can say anything they want and there is little costs and on the other hand republicans have had to resign for saying stupid stupid, so someone clue me in????
