Superman was created by two jews and then stolen by two other jews. It’s something of an interesting history, but one that I will not delve into here, since we have breaking news – Superman is coming out!

The new Superman, Jonathan Kent — who is the son of Clark Kent and Lois Lane — will soon begin a romantic relationship with a male friend, DC Comics announced Monday.
It seems they had already established Clark Kent as being a heterosexual for too long to really flip him at this late stage, so they decided to use his son. Jon Kent is not just a sodomite, but a progressive hero in many other ways too.
That same-sex relationship is just one of the ways that Jonathan Kent, who goes by Jon, is proving to be a different Superman than his famous father. Since his new series, Superman: Son of Kal-El, began in July, Jon has combated wildfires caused by climate change, thwarted a high school shooting and protested the deportation of refugees in Metropolis.
The writer of the series wanted to make sure Superman was not just another “straight white savior.”
“The idea of replacing Clark Kent with another straight white savior felt like a missed opportunity,” Tom Taylor, who writes the series, said in an interview. He said that a “new Superman had to have new fights — real world problems — that he could stand up to as one of the most powerful people in the world.”
The article mentions how Robin has also come out and a new Aquaman comic has a gay Black man as the star who may become the title hero. It also talks about how psychiatrist Fredric Wertham wrote “Seduction of the Innocent” in 1954, wherein he described Batman and Robin as “a wish dream of two homosexuals living together.” This led to Congressional hearings and the 1956 Comics Code Authority. Batwoman was introduced as a love interest so as to prove Batman was not buggering his little sidekick.
There is also another interesting piece of history in the article:
One of the earliest mainstream comics to feature gays or lesbians appeared in 1980. It was not a positive portrayal. In the story, Bruce Banner, the alter ego of Marvel’s Hulk, is at a Y.M.C.A, where two gay men try to rape him.
Did Hulk end up committing a hate crime by smashing his would-be rapists? Superheroes were such bigots back in the day.
While times, they are a-changin’ (as Bob Zimmerman once sang), not everyone is on board with the man of steel becoming a fudgepacker.
There has been some blowback to the recent evolution charted by comics. In August, as rumors about the Superman development began to circulate, a commenter on one website complained that “Marvel and DC have ruined their characters to please the woke mob, who don’t even buy comics.”
They don’t really care about making more profits off of comic book fans at this point. Just like the gay men’s chorus of San Francisco, they are coming for your children, and they’re using superheroes to corrupt them. It is rather villainous. Hopefully there are enough real heroes out there to put a stop to this evil agenda.
