Do you know that an estimated 85% of the world’s population has some kind of parasite living inside them?

Parasitic worms enter the body from other people, animals and pets, mosquitoes, ticks, contaminated food, undercooked meat and unclean water, and can cause a range of symptoms, from disturbed sleep patterns, to bloating and digestion issues, and even seizures. Unfortunately, infestations often go undetected and misdiagnosed.

What is a parasite?

A parasite is an organism that lives on or in other organisms from which it obtains nutrients and, in the process, causes harm to their host through the toxins they release. There are over 100 different types of parasitic worms that can live within the human body, and can infiltrate any system in the body — including the lungs, liver, heart, brain, spinal cord, blood, pancreas, skin, eyes, kidneys and uterus. Parasites invade when the immune system is down, and migrate to the parts of the body that are not functioning properly. Often parasites burrow themselves in the intestines, the circulatory system, the liver and the lungs. They can literally drill holes in your organs and destroy cells faster than they can regenerate. Moreover, female worms can release 3000-200,000 eggs per day.

Many illnesses have been linked to parasite infestations, however parasites can be difficult to diagnose, and medical professionals often overlook the connection between parasitic infection and serious disease. Although there are many common symptoms of parasite infestation, listed below, people with parasites can also seem perfectly healthy and have no idea they are even carrying them.

The Symptoms

  • Stomach pain
  • Indigestion
  • Bloating
  • Constipation
  • Headaches
  • Acne
  • Rashes
  • Muscle and Joint Pain
  • Fatigue and drowsiness after meals
  • Frequent infections
  • Weight loss
  • Passing a worm in your stool

The Solutions

Prevention

First of all, prevention is key to keeping parasites away.

Keeping your immune system strong is vital. (Check out my natural immune support tonic recipe here: Immune Support Tonic – Delicious Natural Recipe!)

Good hygiene in the bathroom and the kitchen are important. (You’ll find plenty of tips and recipes for natural cleaning solutions here.)

Safe cooking practices are important too, since parasites are often found in undercooked meat and unwashed fruits and vegetables. Be sure to cook meats properly, wash fruits and vegetables in clean water and vinegar, and maintain a clean cooking space.

Keeping your hands clean is also a good way to prevent the spread of parasites. (Here are two simple and effective recipes for making your own hand sanitizer: How to Make Your Own Hand Sanitizer – 2 Easy Recipes!)

Treatment

Medical doctors often have a difficult time recognizing whether worms might be causing complications in the body, so if you are concerned you may have a parasite, be proactive and insist on being tested. Parasites are usually diagnosed through stool testing. (Courtesy of Lissa Rankin, MD, you’ll find tips for taking control of the doctor/patient relationship here: 11 Ways To Be A Proactive Patient.)

If parasites are found in your system, there are some pharmaceutical medications you can buy over-the-counter, but they are very toxic and typically only kill a couple of different types of worms. Thankfully, Mother Earth has given us some incredible natural and herbal remedies that have been proven to kill over 100 different parasites. These include Diatomaceous Earth, Black Walnut Hull, Ground Clove Powder, Wormwood, Black Seed Oil and Neem. (You’ll find other herbal remedies for parasites here.)

A parasitic cleanse is the most effective way to rid your body of the parasites, especially when the body is overburdened with other toxins. Filling your body with fresh fruits and veggies, seeds (especially pumpkin seeds), nuts, fermented foods etc. while taking herbs that fight parasites is the ultimate natural way to get rid of the bugs living in your body. I have formulated a combination of herbs that work together to kill parasites and support your body in expelling them. Click here to learn more.

There is no reason to live with dis-ease. With a little know-how, you can find thrive in a balanced state without resorting to harsh pharmaceutical interventions.
