Democrats are coming for your guns. And they aren’t making many exceptions.
Seriously, it’s true. California senator Dianne Feinstein just released a gun control bill. And, boy, is it a doozy.

From the Washington Examiner:
“The bill — sponsored by Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., and other Senate Democrats — would make it illegal to sell more than 200 types of semi-automatic weapons as well as magazines holding more than ten rounds of ammunition. The proposal would also ban devices that ramp up firing speed, such as the bump stock used in the Las Vegas shooting last month.”
There’s wrongheaded legislation, and there’s just wrong legislation. The Feinstein bill is an example of the latter. Just from the looks of it, the bill would ban a huge number of guns on the market, without little exception.

The problem is, the language is so broad, that it could be used to target any kind of gun. Feinstein says her bill will ban “military-style assault weapons,” even though any gun could be classified as such given the right accessories.

A grip, stock, and handguard are “military characteristics” in the same way seats, windows, and tires are “military characteristics” of cars b/c Humvees use all three.
