A new book about Sweden’s alleged “collaboration” with Nazi Germany has prompted an unsuccessful lawsuit by a Swedish museum against the book’s Jewish author, the stand-up “comedian” Aron Flam:
But the lawsuit, which got thrown out of court Friday, wasn’t even about book’s subject, which in Sweden has been out in the open for decades.
Instead, Aron Flam was sued over copyright ownership of a cartoon tiger that he used on the cover of his recently published book “This Is a Swedish Tiger.”
In Sweden, the tiger image was used in a propaganda campaign during World War II to discourage Swedes from saying things or take actions that would have jeopardized Sweden’s neutral status — in Swedish, the word “tiger” also means silence.
The image on the cover of Flam’s book has the tiger wearing a Nazi armband with a black swastika, although the original image bears none of these symbols.
The tiger symbol is owned by the Emergency Preparedness Museum, which includes exhibits from Sweden’s preparations for the war.
The ruling Friday by the Patent and Market Court of Stockholm District Court said Flam did not violate the private museum’s copyrights because he used the symbol to parody it, according to the SVT broadcaster. Flam told SVT the ruling came as a “great relief.”
Earlier this year, the book sold through two print runs before Swedish police confiscated 2,000 copies as the lawsuit started.
This was a frivolous lawsuit from the start — EU law allows for artistic license with copyrighted material for the purposes of parody and satire — the outcome of the lawsuit was inevitable.
Of course, it’s well within the bounds of political correctness to criticize Sweden for its alleged “collaboration” with the “Nazis” — after all, in atheist-socialist Sweden, the “Nazis” have replaced old Satan from the Bible.
But it’s a gross exaggeration to claim that Sweden “collaborated” with the Nazis — middleman Sweden did indeed sell much-needed armaments to Germany (and the Allies) during the war — not because it supported “Nazism” but rather because they were using the German army as a proxy to stave off a potential and very real threat of a Soviet invasion of Sweden.
To construe that self-interest as “collaboration” is just more facile self-serving Jewish hypocrisy.
Had it not been for the German pre-emptive invasion of Russia and the ensuing devastation of the Red Army, all of Europe would have fallen to the communist hordes — but the Jews today conveniently ignore that fact — and focus instead on 6 million fake dead Jews as the central narrative of the years 1939-1945.
Ironically, by arming the Germans, Sweden perhaps did avoid a direct communist invasion and takeover, but after the war, they threw their traditional Christian culture out the window and whole-heartedly embraced the secular religion of “social democracy” — or communism-lite — which has an absolute stranglehold on the psyche of the Swedish people — paralyzing them as they impotently watch their country burn under the internal contradictions of its bolshevik hive mentality.
And so they have this Jew, Aron Flam, writing a banal book in which he flagellates them for their alleged “antisemitism” and “Nazi” past — when, in fact, Sweden is probably the most non-racist, judaized country in all of Europe — because they blindly internalized the inverted reality that the Jews were the victims and Germans the victimizers.
