Somebody had a plan for individual obsolescence a long time ago.

Take a look at the whole planet. It seems that as species die out, there are not near as many new species that are found. Life in general is becoming obsolete.

Obsolescence of individuals is not necessarily a bad thing. Isaiah 57:1 (NIV): “The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.”

Matthew 24:35 (NIV):

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”

Ephesians 2:6, 7 (NIV):

“And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.”

1 Thessalonians 4:16 (NIV):

“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.”
