UK: Boris Johnson Says Second Lockdown Would be Like Starting a Nuclear War

After stating that he hoped life will return to normal by Christmas, Boris Johnson is now comparing a second lockdown to starting a nuclear war.

Daily Mail:

Boris Johnson has played down the prospect of a second national coronavirus lockdown, saying he did not want to use it any more than Britain’s Trident nuclear deterrent.

The Prime Minister said the authorities were getting better at identifying and isolating local outbreaks, although it was important that the power to order national action was held in reserve.

I can’t abandon that tool any more than I would abandon a nuclear deterrent. But it is like a nuclear deterrent, I certainly don’t want to use it. And nor do I think we will be in that position again,’ he told The Sunday Telegraph.

His comments could lead to further tensions between ministers and their scientific experts after the chief scientific adviser Sir Patrick Vallance warned on Friday there was ‘a risk’ that national measures could be needed as winter approaches.

It is clear that there is a big disconnect between Boris Johnson and his government’s panel of experts, much like there’s a disconnect between Donald Trump and his own panel of “experts.”

Mr. Johnson being slightly orange may have something to do with the current similarities between him and Trump, as both are trying to prevent their countries from entering what the media and some experts call the New Normal.

What this New Normal is no one knows for sure, but it appears to be a scenario where people permanently wear some kind of face mask and live in perpetual isolation from other human beings, working from home and getting food and supplies through some kind of Amazon delivery system while leaning on VR technology for their sexual and social needs.

Some experts argue that this New Normal will bring a New Human form.

Daily Mail:

Experts have created a model depicting what Brits could look like if we were to work from home for the rest of our lives.

The home worker of 2045 is represented by ‘Susan’, a scary rendering created by clinical psychologists and fitness experts.

Susan suffers from hunched shoulders, double chin, obesity and ‘digital eye strain’ – dry, bloodshot eyes as a result of staring at a computer screen all day long.

The model portrays the effects isolated working can have on our bodies if we don’t take the necessary steps to avoid them, according to job experts DirectlyApply.

While many remote workers have enjoyed the extra sleep and comfy work attire during the coronavirus lockdown, future pandemics could mean the benefits are far outweighed by long-term physical effects on our body.

SCIENCE has spoken.

Anyone opposing the lockdown and virus hysteria is a hero fighting to preserve the human form.

We are not intended to live in isolation.
