“The life span of the terrorist groups, including the ISIL, won’t be so long and they won’t have any place among the Iraqi people if the current disputes among different Iraqi groups and parties are ended through talks and within the framework of a comprehensive national government,” Yavar told FNA on Monday.
He described political stability in Iraq and understanding and agreement among different Iraqi streams as the only solution to confront the terrorists and defeat the terrorist projects of the ISIL in and outside the region.
In relevant remarks earlier this month, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian underlined that unity and cooperation among different Iraqi groups and armed forces will certainly defeat the terrorists who have created crisis in the country.
He said: “The Iraqi armed forces and popular mobilization of Shiites, Kurds and Sunnis will undoubtedly put an end to terrorism in Iraq.”
