Afghan protesters on Tuesday staged a protest rally against US-led troops over the killing of four children during the operation carried out by foreign troops against Taliban militants in Shahjoy district on Monday. Three other children were wounded in the attack.
The protesters carried the bodies of the children aged eight to 12 and chanted anti-American slogans.
Earlier Tuesday, US-led troops killed two civilians in their latest assault on ordinary Afghans.
Local sources told Press TV that the victims were killed in a US-led operation in Laghman province.
The deaths of Afghan civilians at the hands of foreign troops have raised anti-US sentiment in the country. Afghans have staged numerous protests condemning the killings.
