VOTE counting is continuing in the West Australian election with several seats still undetermined.
The Liberals won the state election on Saturday with a landslide victory over WA Labor, which lost several seats held from the previous election.
The Liberal party will hold a majority in the Lower House and is also expected to have a majority in the Upper House.
But the seats of Belmont, Midland, Collie-Preston, Kimberley, Eyre and Warren-Blackwood remain undetermined.
The West Australian Electoral Commission says some of the close seats may not be declared until the end of the week because postal votes do not close until Thursday.
Meanwhile, the WA Greens suffered a major blow in the election and may hold only two seats in the Upper House.
