What happened with 3 Palestinian girls inside Israeli jails

Days of Palestine, West Bank -Three Palestinian girls have said that they were assaulted and insulted by Israeli occupation forces during their detainment, Palestinian NGO reported on Thursday.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) identified the three little girls as Rama Jaabis, 14, Malak Salman, 16 and Sajida Hasan, 16.

According to the PPS, the three little girls were beaten during their detention by the Israeli occupation authorities last month.

The PPS lawyer, who visited the three girls, reported that the Israeli occupation forces handcuffed them before beating them while screaming “obscene insults.”

He added that the Israeli occupation authorities have prevented the girls’ parents from visiting or making contact with them. He also said that the Israeli occupation authorities did not allow a lawyer to be present during their interrogations.

According to children’s rights group, Defence for Children International-Palestine, three out of four Palestinian children experience physical violence during arrest, transfer or interrogation by Israeli occupation forces.

It is worth mentioning that of February, there were more than 7,750 Palestinians inside the Israeli occupation prisons, including more than 400 children and 400 others under administrative detention.
