There are absolutely NO people that have sacrificed more for America than our veterans that suffered injuries in combat while fighting for our freedom. They spilled blood for our country.
America’s Freedom Fighters wants to thank all veterans and know this- we pledge to always fight for YOU! Our veterans deserve so much better than what the Obama administration has deemed as acceptable.
There are an estimated 1.8 million Purple Heart recipients, combat wounded service members who have transitioned back into civilian life. They have made great sacrifices to ensure our freedoms but often go unrecognized.
Now, Americans across our country are honoring our wounded veterans in an awesome new way.
Wounded Warriors Family Support organization has started a program that designates parking spots for men and women who suffered injuries while in combat, according to Fox News.
Armed with purple paint and rollers, volunteers are increasingly going to work to help designate pre-arranged parking spaces for men and women who were injured in combat.
This wonderful program offers free parking signs to any establishment that wants them.
Local stores, churches, schools and public facilities have asked to put up purple signs of their own, paving way for a trend now “stretching from coast to coast,” said the group on its website.
Volunteers have included everyone from eighth graders to other veterans paying their respects.
The Military Order of the Purple Heart posted this picture of volunteers painting a spot on its Facebook page, which is generating a lot of support and much deserved attention.
One veteran, Bobby Woody, said he was walking out of a store on Friday and was almost “at a loss for words.”
“I was so grateful,” he told The Military Honor of the Purple Heart.
Users on social media responded by hailing the special tribute, calling it a small way to give thanks to the nation’s veterans.
“Priorities well placed!” wrote one user. “Even if the spot is empty, a good reminder for those who walk by.”
This is an awesome way to honor our heroes and we applaud these patriots for caring about our veterans, something that Barack Obama has no interest in doing.
