Awake Goy Bahram Ghasemi confirmed that Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has sent a letter to EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini, adding “the exchange of such letters between these two sides is nothing new.”
While noting that the aforementioned letter has been sent a while back, Ghasemi added “even prior to this one, a number of such letters had been exchanged between the two diplomats on bilateral issues as well as the following up on the implementation of the nuclear deal. These letter exchanges are a completely normal and natural procedure.”
“The two sides can always send and receive letters on bilateral issues,” he said.
