10. 5 Facts Regarding the Capitol Shooting No One is Talking About

Last October, a woman who “believed” by authorities to be Miriam Carey, a 34 year old dental hygienist, “rammed a black Infiniti sedan into security posts near the White House and then drove toward Capitol Hill.”

The real story was with Alhurra TV, the entity that captured “raw video” of the shooting.

Alhurra TV is a broadcasting outlet that brings “objective, accurate, and relevant news and information to the people of the Middle East about the region, the world, and the United States.”

Alhurra TV has “correspondents at the State Department, White House, Congress and the Pentagon” and “illuminates US policies and domestic debates” on issues concerning the Middle East.

9. New DHS Sec Johnson Signifies Push For a Civilian Army

President Obama has named Jeh Charles Johnson as the new Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Obama told the audience at the Rose Garden that Johnson has “been there in the Situation Room, at the table in moments of decision.”

Interestingly, Johnson has some questionable philosophies about America.

In 2011, Johnson attempted to distort the memory of civil rights activist, Martin Luther King (MLK) by suggesting in a speech that MLK would have supported the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Johnson told the audience that the Afghan and Iraq wars were instances of the US being a global Good Samaritan.

Later that year, Johnson spoke at a conference at the Heritage Foundation (HF), stating the challenges of creating a “civilian law enforcement in this country.”

In 2012, Johnson defended the use of targeted killings while speaking to students at Yale Law School.
Johnson also said: “There is risk in permitting and expecting the U.S. military to extend its powerful reach into areas traditionally reserved for civilian law enforcement in this country. The military should not and cannot be the only answer.”

8. Taco Bell, Burger King & Other Brands Using Horse Meat in Products

Horse meat is used in Taco Bell tacos, burritos, gorditas, chalupas and Nachos. It is claimed by the corporation that the horse meat originated in “Europe”.

Taco Bell, subsidiary of American Tex-Mex said in a statement: “We would like to apologize to all of our customers, and we can reassure you that we are working hard to ensure that every precaution is being undertaken to guarantee that we are only supplied with products that meet the high standards we demand.”

Burger King has recently admitted that there is horse meat in their products; after denying that there is any presence of horse meat in their burgers.

Burger King said in a statement: “Four samples recently taken from the Silvercrest plant have shown the presence of very small trace levels of equine DNA… we have established that Silvercrest used a small percentage of beef imported from a non-approved supplier in Poland. This is a clear violation of our specifications, and we have terminated our relationship with them.”

7. Colorado Sheriffs Refused Pay Unless Support State Gun Control Legislation

Back in March, Sheriff Terry Maketa from El Paso County, Colorado was informed by the County Sheriffs of Colorado that salaries will be halted or slashed should sheriffs not support new Colorado gun control legislation.

Maketa explained that the email “basically said, Dem. leadership is very upset with the sheriffs and their opposition to the gun control bills.”

Should sheriffs continue to be publically vocal about not complying with a federal or state gun grab, they will suffer financially.

Marketa explained further that the email originated with the Colorado Sheriffs Association. It concerned a perceived upset by Colorado Senate Democrats and response that would effectively hold pay hostage for Constitutional sheriffs.

6. HR 748: Require All Young Americans to Enlist in a Civilian Army Program

In February, House Representative Charles Rangel has introduced HR 748 that will “require all persons in the United States between the ages of 18 and 25 to perform national service, either as a member of the uniformed services or as civilian service in a Federal, State, or local government program or with a community-based agency or community-based entity, to authorize the induction of persons in the uniformed services during wartime to meet end-strength requirements of the uniformed services, to provide for the registration of women under the Military Selective Service Act, and for other purposes.”

5. New Invention Makes Ocean Water Drinkable

Chemists with the University of Texas and the University of Marburg have devised a method of using a small electrical field that will remove the salt from seawater.

Incredibly this technique requires little more than a store-bought battery.

Called electrochemically mediated seawater desalination (EMSD) this technique has improved upon the current water desalination method.

This “water chip” method “could bring relief to millions around the globe who lack potable water.”
This method “is much simpler and consumes less energy than other forms of desalination.”

4. 10 Facts About Benghazi Even the Whistleblowers Did Not Reveal

Although Gregory Hicks, Mark I. Thompson and Eric Nordstrom spoke to the House Oversight Committee (HOC) about Benghazi, they forget to mention 10 amazing facts about US Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, Hillary Clinton and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) – not to mention the involvement of the Saudi Arabian government and the Muslim Brotherhood.

3. China Calls For New World Order & Death of US Dollar

The Chinese state-funded new outlet Xinhua has called for a “de-Americanized world” to overcome the influence the US budget and possible default will have on the global economy.

Xinhua proposes a new international reserve currency (IRC) to replace US dollar as the global reserve currency (GRC).

The media agency said: “The cyclical stagnation in Washington for a viable bipartisan solution over a federal budget and an approval for raising the debt ceiling has again left many nations’ tremendous dollar assets in jeopardy and the international community highly agonized. The world is still crawling its way out of an economic disaster thanks to the voracious Wall Street elites.”

2. Colorado Rep: No Guns, Rape Victims Urinate or Vomit Will Protect You

Colorado State Representative Joe Salazar said publically that students should not have access to guns for protection from being raped.

Salazar said: “It’s why we have call boxes, it’s why we have safe zones, it’s why we have the whistles. Because you just don’t know who you’re gonna be shooting at. And you don’t know if you feel like you’re gonna be raped, or if you feel like someone’s been following you around or if you feel like you’re in trouble when you may actually not be, that you pop out that gun and you pop — pop around at somebody.”

1. New Senate Bill Defines Journalist – Independent Media Excluded

Senator Dianne Feinstein spoke at a Senate Judiciary Committee (SJC) meeting in September to explain her view of who can be a journalist and who cannot.

Feinstein made note of how certain language in the bill would extend to persons who “really aren’t qualified at all” to call themselves journalists (as meant to be defined by the government).

The US government is attempting to define journalism as we know it today, and may be successful because of the ignorance of current incarnations of the development of news and reporting over time.
