Diamond Dealers have a lot in common even though they are working in different countries.

The Diamond Dealers Club of New York or DDC, will host their Israeli diamond industry counterparts for a week in November, after its representatives met at the World Diamond Congress in Mumbai and agreed to hold the event.

Diamond Dealers Club president Reuben Kaufman reached an agreement with Israel Diamond Exchange President Yair Sahar to hold the “Israel Diamond Week” on the DDC trading floor. The two agreed to cover the vast majority of the costs of the trip,

so that professionals in the Israeli diamond industry can attend at a low cost.

Sahar said he hoped the event will only be the first of many such events that allow members of the two organizations to improve bilateral relations.
