(Scroll down for video) Three kkk members set a young black woman on fire, according to reports.

A black woman, 20-years-old, said she was set on fire by three men who wrote the initials KKK and hurled racial slurs in northeast Louisiana, police said Monday.

Authorities found Sharmeka Moffitt with burns over half of her body when they responded to her 911 call Sunday night, Louisiana State Police Lt. Julie Lewis said.

The FBI is investigating the attack as a possible hate crime, but no arrests had been made as of Monday night, Lewis said. Moffitt was in critical condition in a hospital and some of her injuries were third-degree burns.

Moffitt told police the men doused her with a flammable liquid and set her on fire in a park in Winnsboro, a city in Franklin Parish. Lewis said she put out the fire with water from a tap before a police officer arrived.

Authorities found the letters KKK, an apparent reference to the Ku Klux Klan and a racial slur on the hood of her car, Lewis said.

In the 911 call, Moffitt described her attackers as three men with white hoods or hats, said Lewis.

She later told a police officer who responded to the call that the men wore white sweatshirts. She could not say what race her attackers were. The officer found no suspects or vehicles in Civitan Park, where the attacks allegedly occurred, and the park does not have surveillance cameras, Lewis said. He said the state crime lab was analyzing several pieces of evidence.
