A man was run over by his own vehicle in the town of Tampico in Yakima County.
The sheriff’s office said, a man, 74-years-old, was fixing the idle on Monday and reached his hand to start the car, forgetting that the car was in reverse.
A local newspaper reported that the car lurched back, knocking him down. A tire rolled over his head and his chest.
The sheriff’s office said the man was conscious when he was taken to Yakima
Regional Medical Center.
